We had great dinners at Survey a number of times. Today, my wife and I went for breakfast for the first time. If you are in a hurry, go elsewhere. Every item is individually prepared by a chef who is meticulous! My wife chose the Veggie Wrap. I had the Sausage and Ham Wrap. Both were truly outstanding. Absolutely delicious. And huge. We each brought half home which will tomorrow's breakfast. We also had the "small" (it wasn't) fresh fruit cup and delicious coffee. We will be back for sure. Kudos to the chef. And the staff.

Have visited this charming cafe twice and will continue to eat here as it is such a wonderful experience. The line can be long, but I assure you it is worth the wait. The food is so delicious. First time, I had to take out but the second time, I was lucky to snatch a table on the beautiful patio outside. This is the kind of place I love...have been to France many times, and I feel like I am back here. Haven't tried the desserts but they look soooooo delicious! Highly recommend!!!!

Authentic tacos, quesadillas and tortas. Eat at the patio around the back and grab some beers from Benson's. You won't be sorry. Cash.

Fantastic food and service from this unassuming, friendly and authentic cafe. We were served by the friendly and helpful staff efficiently and with a smile. The food was top notch and well priced. We really enjoyed the freshly prepared smoked salmon flatbread as well as the club sandwich. The coffee was also great! Thank you for making our brief visit to Bonita Springs so enjoyable.

A small French cafe in a shady setting off Old 41 in Bonita Springs. Wonderful covered, outside deck space, with a few tables shaded by umbrellas and palms. We went for breakast.Order at the counter, food is brought to your table. I had eggs, sausage, croissant and added an order of breakfast potatoes. She has avocado toast. Service was friendly, comfortable and without pretention. Can't wait to go back for dinner. Desserts and pastries looked heavenly.

We have enjoyed many a brunch and lunch at the Survey Cafe in downtown Bonita Springs. We decided to try dinner there earlier this week and, sad to say, we were quite disappointed. The online menu listed five entrees. When we called for reservations no exclusions were noted. Two of our small party were eagerly anticipating the chicken champagne entree but upon ordering were advised that it was unavailable. (Out of chicken? Champagne? There was only one other dinner party, so there could not have been a run on chicken). We settled for the “vegetarian lasagne.” (The third member ordered the on-menu cod and enjoyed it). I’ve had lasagne many times in my life and what we were served resembled none of those earlier dishes. It was a small dish, soupy, with a small amount of pasta (normally, of course, lasagne is layered thickly with sheets of pasta), some chunks of tomato and lots of cheese. Neither of us finished the unappetizing and bland dish, at $23 per plate (twice the price of most lasagne dishes in a modest Italian restaurant). The lesson: stick with what they do well at Survey Cafe and eat dinner elsewhere.

Darling old Florida restaurant. Wonderful menu and food well done! Go inside to order and wait outside with your number. We loved it. Sat outside with our dog and enjoyed our meals. Service was not slow, as stated in other reviews, but restaurant was not busy.

It took me way too long to try out this restaurant and now it's one of my favorites for a nice lunch with the lady friends or visitors. I had the best Croque Monsieuer ever.......as good as in France! And it was a nice generous portion. The quiche looked good too but I'll stick with my favorite. You order first inside and then seat yourself and are served your food when ready. Very efficient.

Survey Cafe is a real discovery in Old Bonita Springs! We first had breakfast here and the ambience and cuisine brought us back for dinner tonight so I just had to share my experience with you! Attire is casual and you have a choice of either outdoor or inside dining. It is also pet friendly. This family is from France and has been in this location for 5 years. It is a quiet place, on a side street with minor road traffic. I believe all their croissants and biscuits are made on site and absolutely delicious. Tonight we shared theMongolfiere of the Sea and it did not disappoint. A great restaurant for locals and visitors as well so please check it out.
