Service was extremely slow from start to finish. Our son's chicken tenders came out first and thankfully I cut them open to cool before he ate them because they were still raw in the middle. Once we sent those back they didn't bring my husband and I's meals out so we waited over an hour to finally eat. There were a couple loud large parties, but beyond that the restaurant was pretty empty so I'm unsure why service was slow and food took forever. Once we finally got our food it was decent. Our server was very sweet and kind and they comped the kids meal, but overall our meal here was a poor experience.

I had been to lunch with friends a week ago and had a very good meal and excellent service. We sat on the Veranda area of Tanglewood and it was lovely looking out onto the beautiful grounds. I invited friends for dinner expecting the same great experience. Unfortunately it just didn't make for a great meal. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 softshell crab sandwiches. The burgers were small and barely fit the bun. The fries were cold and stale. The softshell crabs were overcooked and the bun overwhelmed the size of the crab. Again, the fries were stale and cold. We had the fried okra appetizer which was just ok. With drinks our tab for 4 was over $200 hardly worth the price. We were so disappointed we cancelled our reservations for Tarpon Bay the next night. It could have been an off night at Tanglewood but we will not probably not return for dinner. When we arrived there was only 1 other couple in the restaurant and no other diners arrived later. Maybe choose another option when in the area.

Nice quiet hotel restaurant. The menu seemed promising and I am not saying that the food was not of quality or creative, we just thought it was missing some taste. The mashed potatoes were quite lumpy, almost like they were not cooked enough. Other than that we appreciated tasting different recipies.

The seating has nice options - inside, outside, in the midst of others or off to the side in a private nook. The food is good with many options, and the service is fast if you are in a hurry, or relaxed if you are.

We had a group dinner and foods are tasty. Service is fast, friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere. More of contemporary with Southern specialties. A must visit here in the Hyatt Coconut Hotel 5 Stars rating.

This was our first dinner in this restaurant and have always assumed it was an upscale venue and it is definitely not. Very disappointing. We had the same redfish dinner which was unappetizing and not good. We will not be returning.

Ordered at the counter for pickup right before closing because room service orders close 15 minutes prior to closing. Even though they did complete my order, they got my order wrong, charged me a room service charge and an additional service fee which did not include the tip. They also did not offer me a receipt and when I came back to pick it up, the manager did not offer any compensation for the incorrect order. She just apologized. Outrageous, I paid $40 for a hamburger, fries, and a garden salad and didn’t get the fruit I ordered.

( If I can get half a refund for our meal I will be willing to take this review down) I made a reservation here nearly half a year ago. Flew in all the way from New York to go to this place for New Years. Even called a few times to make sure they had my reservation. There was no mention of it being a buffet or what the price would be. Since I ate there before in the past I assumed it would be similar to their menu. When we got there there was no sign up about the price change, or the buffet. There was a regular menu up on the wall by the front of the restaurant. So we studied it to decide what we will order when they opened at 6pm. But once we were at our table they told us it was 120 dollars per person. I was shocked and asked if they can just charge it to one person because I wasn't feeling well and wasn't going to eat much. The waitress said no. Then she suggested we go eat in that small bar restaurant there. That was insulting because I set all my plans to celebrate New Years Eve in this restaurant half a year ago. And came all the way out from N.Y. to eat there. Since the price was so high I figured maybe they had a surprise for everyone or maybe something would make up for it being so expensive. The staff was nice to us and pleasant and did their jobs well. The lambchops were really good, but the potatoes were terrible. I"ve tnever tasted mashed potatoes any worst in my life. Could not eat them. Didn't know what half of the appetizers were but some of them were too hard to bite into. I wasn't able to eat half of what they served because some of that food tasted awful. The desserts were delicious and the place was decorated beautifully. I loved that they had a New Year's hat and horn on our table for us. But it didn't make up for the 120 dollars we paid per person. And they were only open from 6pm to 9pm for New year's. The price was a rip off. I didn't get what I paid for, and I will never go back to this place on New Years again. It's too bad because it's a clean and beautiful place. And everyone was kind to us that night. We ended up getting a bill for 308.00 and we were only there for 1 1/2 hours. The 48.00 they put in was for the service fee. This is the first time in my life we ever had to pay this much for our meal. And it wasn't worth it. We left feeling like they tricked us because they should of had a New Years menu up telling us what the price would be. And it's unbelievable they charged us what they wanted for a tip which was 48 dollars.

The newly redecorated Tanglewood at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point is fresh and comfortable. The food was delicious. We had the Surf and Swine which was fabulously cooked pork belly & seared, glazed scallops on a bed of special rice with a Demi glaze and roasted carrots. YUM! Also at our table we're deviled eggs ( a bit salty for my taste) and a kids cheese pizza which was nice tho quite hot for children. Service was attentive and pleasant. Food took a while to come out, but worth it.

We ate here because it was the first night of our stay. Kid pizza and Mac and cheese was good but our entrees were served partially cold and were inedible. We would have asked for them to be heated but I don't think that would have helped.

I had reservations for 5 for a special occasion. When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed for renovations. The only other restaurant open was bar type food. Not the brunch we made reservations for. We were not happy....

Excellent food and even better customer service! Ashley was our waitress and was so friendly and personable, she made us feel like we had known her forever! Fish tacos and pizza was on our meals and were excellent in taste and quantity.

The food is not good at all. Ravioli came in hot water vs. sauce. Pizza has no taste or sauce. The shrimp scampi came with way over cooked angel hair. The waiter service wasn't pleasant. The place was empty for a very full busy hotel on Labor Day weekend. That should've been a sign. However I have to admit the interim manager Sydney was very nice and accommodating to us at the end. Will eat off property next time.
