I got a speacial with Oxtails rice and peas with cabbage. It came with one single plantain, which i never seen before and even the plantain tasted old. The cabbage was disgusting and the oxtails was nasty. I don't usually do reviews unless its good but this plate disappointed me. I even got a beef patty and ive been to worst restaurants than how this is presented and the patties tasted way better. I payed $20 and for how this meal tasted im going to dispute the charge. The environment was nice, and the setting was nice but when it came to the food it was just a disaster.

I have been going here since 2021. I haven't been back here since 2023. I moved away in 2024 to another state. I dreamed of the fried chicken special from a new state I been at only to return after two years to not as tasty food. It is not the same quality as before, not as good or fresh as previous years and from my reminiscences. I also decided to try the salt fish regular meal. Completely disgusting. Only thing fresh was the dumpling and cabbage. A complete waste of money. The ackee and sailfish tasted old and the boiled banana too. It was completely purple. This place went down hill regarding the food quality. They also forgot to give me a food item I paid for but the food I did get was so nasty they can keep it and the money. I will never return there. I will stick with Golden Krust, a trusted and national chain with better food quality standards. Cashier was nice but the food taste and quality no longer isn’t.

I use to come here every week, since new ownership the food quality has completely went downhill. Overcooked and not fresh. I will never return again.

New ownership has this place under wraps! The food is 100% better now. The last time I was here in Florida was about four months ago, and I can definitely taste the difference.

Before, you could tell they were using minute rice for their rice and peas — but now it’s the real deal! The oxtails have so much more flavor, and they’ve added a better variety of dishes available by lunchtime.

I’m a student at a nearby school, and their lunch specials are a hit — delicious, filling, and affordable. This place has definitely leveled up. Highly recommend!

Horrible!! Just paid for my food, walked out, and left it at the counter! Waste of time will never go back, and to see this was a referral from my usual.

A young miss with a cross tattoo on her neck was rude, and unfriendly, and had no idea what a 1.5 pounds of Jerk Chicken was. She grabbed a piece out, cut leg and thigh? I asked is that 1.5pounds she said yes, cut her eye. Food was open not covered. Soup only in a cup? What no bowl? Ordered 2 cups 🥤.

Young Miss hated my guts, just sat down and put on headphones 🎧 🙃 😒 no thank you nada.

Would not recommend 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Let me put you on real quick—Flavors Jamaican Restaurant is the truth, especially if you’re part of the Oxtail Appreciation Society (which should be a real thing). They’ve got an oxtail lunch special every Tuesday from 1–3 PM, and yes, it's as glorious as it sounds.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and what keeps me coming back is consistency. Doesn’t matter if I hit up the Broward spot or swing by the Boynton Beach location—the flavor always shows up and shows out.

My go-to lineup: oxtail, peas and rice, and their brown stew fish. The oxtail is fall-off-the-bone tender, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and that brown stew fish? It deserves its own spotlight.

Flavors is that reliable, flavorful comfort food spot you can count on. Catch me there on a Tuesday—and probably every other day that ends in “Y.”

I just stopped in for a curry goat lunch special. The food was fresh and tasted amazing especially with a splash of Scotch bonnet spice. Alyssa was very friendly and overall hand an excellent experience!
