My favorite breakfast diner near home (I rate it higher in every category than I do numerous other nearby by diners). The food is typical; not really all that spectacular but it is consistently good. The bacon is always a bit over done for my taste. (I like it with quite a bit of fat still showing). My over-easy eggs never have any uncooked egg and occasionally have a wonderful crisp edge. My mom and I visited for her birthday breakfast this past weekend, and it was exactly what you'd picture when you hear the words 'mom and pop shop'. Lots of happy regulars all around, particularly at the central counter island. They offer classic diner fare at incredibly affordable prices and some deli meats and spreads for you to take home, if you like. Bonus: Possibly the FASTEST service I have ever received at a restaurant. They know their stuff.
