Fun for a group, but not if you want to go for dining. Noise level was unbearable, food did not reach the level of average, but the prices certainly did. To be fair, most people at the hibachi tables enjoyed themselves, and the show was worthwhile. If that's your goal, this is a good place. If it's just for Japanese or Thai food, it's a good place to avoid.
As always, the food was very good. My only complaint was that the server made me feel like we were ordering enough food and we needed to order more.
So much fun watching our meal being prepared in front of us. We sat with from very nice people from Long Island. We had a great time. So glad it was very busy
Great experience and very good food. Our hibachi guy was Alex he was awesome! Will be going back because of him.
Probably should "not" have gone on Father's Day as it was a zoo. Not enough staff because the service was horrible. The chef was nice, she did a nice job. The food tasted good. I recommend, if you are going there, go during the week with a party of 8-10 of your friends. Probably more enjoyable.
The hibachi cook was very stale and did not engage with the customers, we had children at the table, we go here alot first time disappointed in the service
Great fun and great food! Our chef Alex was amazing and entertaining and the food and timing was excellent too!
Our experience tonight was not great at all, our cook was new I would think bcoz she was very slow and there was no entertainment. But that's not even the worst part. The worst part was while we ask her to have to cook the salmon on the side she decided to cook it to where all the meats got cooked and even worst she use the same spatula to clean all the grease and burnt stuff off the grill and continue to use the same spatula cooking the salmon. It was disgusting, they need to train her better becoz it was unacceptable. I feel like that's common sense. We always have a good time here but tonight was very bad. Unfortunately
Very good atmosphere. Love the food (hibachi) better than benihana. I love celebrating special occasions here.

Revised my review Aug 24 from 5 stars to 1. I just paid my bill, and they added the tip, just like many other restaurants do. Except, when they give you the check to sign, they also provide a recommendation to add 18, 20, + so I'm sure many people pay 20%+, not knowing they already included the tip. A reputable restaurant only shows the difference to make the total tip 18, 20 +
My old review.

Kimura is a Benihana style Japanese Steak House. For the average person it is good. For a food snob it is below average. One person in our group had the hibachi grill and thought it was good. But he would say any food is good. I had the Sushi rolls. To me adequate but not good. The other person had the coconut shrimp appetizer, and she was okay with it; but not overwhelmed. It will be my first and last time here, as I am a food snob!
I had Heather as my server and she did an amazing job in helping us pick what we wanted for the hibachi and was very upfront and honest. The wings were crispy and I had this cream cheese and crab appetizer.me and my dad shared a spicy tuna roll and California roll. For the hibachi my father and I got the Steak, Chicken and shrimp combo and it came with soup and fried rice. I loved the fact I can get a VIRGIN frozen Pina colada. When I come back I need Heather as my server I will not have any other server. She definitely made the restaurant worth coming back.

Manager Jimmy was the best. Took our daughter there to celebrate her sweet 16th birthday with a group of about 25 people. Jimmy and his team made us feel as if we were home. There was one mix-up with our cheque and Jimmy rectified it swiftly. Very nice place. Only wished they gave discounts to people who came in groups of over 10 or more.
