As a lover of bagels, I've often found myself exploring new places, seeking the perfect bagel. And let me tell you, my recent experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed not only by the atmosphere but by the exceptional service, the outstanding quality of the food, and the flawless management that kept everything running smoothly, even with a line of customers eager to get in. Walking into Brooklyn Water Bagel, I was immediately struck by the modern, yet welcoming vibe of the space. The décor is warm and inviting, and the layout is open and spacious, allowing you to see everything from the bagel-making process to the freshly brewed coffee. It was clear that this was a place that takes pride in both their food and their environment.
The cleanliness of the restaurant was honestly unworldly. I’m someone who notices the little details, and I was impressed by the spotless floors, polished counters, and gleaming windows. The entire space had a sense of freshness that made it easy to relax and enjoy the experience without any concerns about cleanliness. Place is cool nice vibe but the bagel was just like dry bread but the worst part is they advertise Taylor ham and I asked them if it was Taylor him they said yes and when I got it and saw that it was just processed pork roll had zero flavor I asked them again they said it was Taylor ham And I said can I see the package and they said oh it's just pork roll the guy next to me threw his out and mumbled you need to take the word Brooklyn off your sign

The only thing I'm a little disappointed with. I really enjoy their blueberry muffins. I had asked for a little extra butter on my toasted muffin & I was charged

They already charge you for butter. I know the cost of food is increasing but, I find that outrageous.

Mistake with the order, slow and impersonal service, average food

Love the coffee, love the sandwiches but in the time of a year I've gotten 4-6 cinnamon raison bagels with strawberry cream, each time I had a mouth full of garlic or something similar. I try not to be picky so I've given multiple tries but at somepoint I have to wonder what's going on? Is it maybe difficult to wipe knives or maybe it's just me but eitherway I want my strawberry cream cheese to taste preferably like strawberry and not garlic/scallions.

I placed two separate orders on two separate tickets. One bagel sandwich with a side of hash browns and on the other order/other receipt a gluten free bagel sandwich to deliver to someone who wasn't feeling well. For some reason they put both orders all in the same bag, unlabeled and with no obvious way to tell them apart. I asked the bagger to clarify what was what and she assured me the bottom one was the gluten free one, which I delivered. The orders were not only reversed, but also incorrect! As a restaurant owner for 10 years with serving options for allergy intolerances I take such things seriously.

If you can't properly manage such offerings safely and properly expedite your orders correctly, you shouldn't attempt to serve them. Do better.
