2 visits on this trip and both times everything was excellent. Fresh bread, nice wines, fresh pasta and proper home made ingredients. A great local, family owned restaurant could not be better. Cannot wait to go back

An authentic taste of Italy. The owners are from Italy. Papa is the chef and Mamma warmly greets the customers with their adorable baby in hand. The pasta is homemade. The sensibility Italian. The wine list is quality. Don't expect fancy, just excellent food. I am Italian, so I am picky when it comes to Italian food. From what we saw, they are doing well, including a brisk take out business. I also loved the Italian music, and not cheesy Italian. Go!

Mamma is from Piedmonte and warmly greets the customers with their adorable baby in her arms. The pasta is homemade. The food authentic, fresh and made to order. Don't expect fancy, just excellent food. The wine list is quality. I loved listening to the soft Italian music---and not cheesy Italian music. The restaurant was full and they seem to do a brisk take out business. I heard one woman who was ordering take out say, "I'll order whatever he (the chef/owner) recommends." She obviously was a regular. We drove from Anna Maria to come here and we will be back.

We liked it so much that we came back from Longboat Key to this small family Italian restaurant. Food , service family atmosphere, food made to order , good small wine selection, almost like being back in Italy.

hello yelp friends..we went there for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised ..........the food was very good and the service was great ,,,my wife loves fettucini with white clams sauce .she ordered it and was very pleased with the fact that they actually used real clams not the can stuff that most places give you,, it was delicious ,for me i had the pasta puttanesca also very very good ..for dessert we had a limoncello cake which was fantastic ..all in all iwe would definately go back to this place ,,just make sure you make reservation its a small place and it has limited seating .ciao buon appetito !

We ate here last night for the first time. It was a pleasant surprise. All four of us enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere is very cute and cozy and our waitress was very helpful. We will be back for sure.

A rather intimate, in terms of size, restaurant. Hostess was most gracious - co-owner. Spaghetti Carbonara not quite what I expected, but decent. Noise level very high. Price was reasonable. May try later with another entre.
