American Legion Kirby Stewart Post 24

Used to be a great place to stop in for a cold beer after work. The new saying about post 24 is “where the beer is cold and the service is colder.“ Many of us regulars have migrated to the amvets and will stay put until there’s a change of management and some of the help at the Legion!

Best Fish fry we’ve had in Florida. Excellent service and very reasonable. Yummm

My husband and I popped in today to check out this American Legion as we moved from Pinellas County to Manatee County. Kelly the bartender was pleasant and informative of calendar events and food menu. We will definitely be back. And very grateful it is non smoking inside. A big deal breaker for me.

Canadian Legion Member for 45 years. I have been coming to the Post 24 Legion for the past 23 years and find it is top notch in every way possible. The Legion is a wonderful building with so many activities, friendly patrons, super staff who serve wonderful meals. I feel extremely lucky to have such a wonderful place to attend during my 6-month snowbird winter here. With much thanks, Wayne

This is a fantastic post. The food is great, people are nice and the events are getting better every day.

Where the service is colder than the beer!!! It’s really not a veteran organization. There’s really no veteran affiliation- anybody and their pet toad can join. They don’t listen to their members… the manager and his employee wife have ruined what was a nice place.

Food was very good- service was awful. Don't go on Friday night unless you don't mind being ignored and have a lot of time to waist.

We have been here for drinks earlier, first time for karaoke and food.The place was packed.First, this is a very well run Legion.Service was excellent and fast, food was very good as well. Prices were very reasonable.Singers were from abysmal to really good. Overall, it was a lot of fun!

Joined this legion about 6 months ago. Food is great and there is always activites/entertainment going on
