After spending the day at the Florida State Fair in Tampa, my fiancé and I decided to stop by Anna Maria Oyster Bar in Ellenton—and we’re so glad we did!

Misty, our waitress, was exceptional. The food was amazing. The atmosphere very pleasant. We had an Oyster feast, that's for sure, like 3 different kinds, so good! The appetizers are also very tasty.
Great service by Misty on a busy Saturday night! We ordered Draft Beer and House Wine from the Happy Hour Specials Menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the sauteed Captains Combo -- a delectable selection of flounder, shrimp and sea scallops in an herb garlic butter sauce. The sides of Brussels Sprouts and Cheesy Grits were delicious! The restaurant was decorated for Christmas and has a regular ocean decor. We highly recommend this seafood restaurant which specializes in Oysters.
