Attardi's Pizzeria Reviews
I’ve always been a ‘stack it high with every meat imaginable’ kind of pizza guy. My wife? A die-hard Hawaiian fan. So we compromised… which is why I now eat Hawaiian every time. Thankfully, Attardis makes a Hawaiian pizza so good, I don’t even argue about the pineapple anymore—I just quietly admit it belongs on pizza (at least when they make it).
Attardi's is the best pizza place in Sarasota, and I'm Italian and am picky. And, for you West Virginia's who miss your state's famous "pepperoni rolls" - Attardi's has them, and they're as good or better than any you can get in the Mountaineer state. George the owner/chef has amazing attention to detail, cooks everything perfectly with the finest ingredients. He's a perfectionist (you can tell by watching him). This place is a gem. Just Fyi.
The pizza is the best so far for me . I always order large specialty one and I know I can only eat 1 slice. My husband loves their Stromboli with red sauce: yum

Attardi's Pizzeria is a charming family-owned restaurant that offers a cozy atmosphere. The garlic knots with mozzarella are delicious, and the marinara sauce is fresh and tasty. The cheese and pepperoni pizza has an amazing crust that customers love. The Hawaiian Sicilian pizza is also a favorite, with some customers enjoying its doughy crust. The owner, George, is friendly and professional, known for his amazing attention to detail and willingness to remake pizzas if needed. Customers appreciate the antipasto salad and the pesto chicken pizza, although some find it a bit heavy on the olive oil. Attardi's is recognized as the best pizza place in Sarasota, with reviews praising it for having some of the best pizza in Florida and for the amazing service. The restaurant has been generous in donating pizzas to local sports teams, earning them respect from the community. The pepperoni rolls have also received positive remarks, drawing comparisons to those from West Virginia. While most dishes are well-received, some customers have noted inconsistencies, such as the quantity of spinach on pizzas and the quality of mozzarella sticks. Overall, Attardi's remains a beloved gem in the area.
