Tom's Bad Ass Bar and Grill

Food was good and reasonably priced but nothing out of the ordinary. We had fried pickles (very generous amount) and burgers (handmade). Service was quick although they weren’t busy at the time. Our server was very friendly.

Friendly staff but food is horrible. Went for lunch and the Cuban sandwich was soggy the tots were so greasy that you could have changed the oil in your car. Chicken tenders weren’t much better plus the film on the dips weren’t appetizing at all. Won’t go there again.

We stopped in for beer and pub grub. Thankfully, they serve domestic bottled beers and not solely craft beers, which is becoming a real thing these days at some pubs and bars. We really enjoyed the appetizers we ordered. We were happy to find on the menu what I refer to as, Classic Nachos. They are made the way nachos were made when they first became a pub grub favorite. The Tatter Tots were really good. And, the blue cheese dressing that came with the Buffalo Wings was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. We played our favorite songs on the juke box, which can be controlled using the TouchTunes App without having to leave your seat. This is a must-do when in Historic Bradenton.

We love this local spot. The new owners changed the food for the better, and the new staff is awesome! Erin and Lindsay rock the house!! The food is NEVER a disappointment, and they have the best burger in town! I love that they offer tater tots for a side, and more than one of my favorite IPA’s, which are two rare things. We always feel welcome, and we always have a good time.

Awesome atmosphere and amazing food. Definitely will be going back for the delicious food and great drinks. The bartender Miranda provided exceptional service on the busy Saturday afternoon and the bus boy Tommy entertained my kids while I ate. Glad I found this nice family friendly spot.

My wings were so good. Homemade in house ranch and even better honey mustard. Tater tots instead of fries and the seasoning is tasty. Erin was a great bartender, and always remembers what I drink without me having to ask. The servers are very nice and work well together.

New ownership made changes to menu NOT AS GOOD as previous ownership. Been there twice since new ownership. No More Homemade Onion Rings!! Big Mistake by new owner. Portions also much smaller now!! I used th recommend it to people I met…not any more

Nice cozy bar and grill in downtown Bradenton. The burger I had was good, and you can get tater tots instead of fries which is a nice option not many places have. There is a full bar and a good selection of beers on tap. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the music coming from the jukebox was good and it not too loud. I will definitely be back!

A good sandwich place with a variety of beers. This was our first visit and we enjoyed the food. Burger was perfect and husband really liked the Ruben. Would stop again. Servers were quite attentive and food arrived quickly. We will go again.

Service and music- great!!

Waited 1 1/2 hours and still no food. No manager came out our waitress saying kitchen making more then taking our same food to customers who came in after us. You have 1 chance to keep customers and this place did not care one bit. If you don’t mind waiting 2 hours for drinks and food this place is for you!!!!!
