I bet most 1 ☆ reviews eat at McDonalds regularly or they hate good competition. BASILS DID IT AGAIN! Best chicken in Bradenton. I will report on the ribs on my next visit. This is the nest chicken dinner I have had in a loooong time..... Definitely now in my rotation of great dining in Bradenton !!!!

We ordered delivery from here and unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The mac and cheese had a thick, paste-like texture and very little flavor. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a mix rather than being freshly made. The grilled chicken also missed the mark — not crispy, not smoky, and lacking seasoning or barbecue flavor. We ended up not finishing our meals, which was disappointing given the positive reviews we’d read. Overall, bland and underwhelming.

A couple times a month me & my son work late, so my son picks up food to go for dinner from Basil's on his way home. I'm sorry to say, but every time the chicken is bland and very dry, like it's been sitting there for quite a while. And, your prices aren't cheap. I know you're family owned and I try to support small businesses. But you really need to find a way to keep the chicken moist, or give the customer a choice if they would like to wait a while for some fresh chicken!!

Stopped in and got a half rack ribs with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Had no idea it came with some sort of bread as well. It was all fresh, hot, and delicious. Ora the cashier was amazing. Will be back to order again soon. Price is worth every bit. Not expensive either.

As a diabetic, making healthy food choices is an essential part to a healthy lifestyle, but I don’t want to compromise on flavor. Basil’s at SR 64 has healthy food, cooked to perfection. My favorite is the gyro topped Greek salad with dressing and sauces on the side. The vegetables are always fresh, and the arrangement is mouth watering! Basil’s is my first choice for take out. It’s a lot less expensive than a burger & fries and a whole lot more satisfying!

I always get the chicken wraps and they are really good. This time I got the Mediterranean chicken and I think it my favorite now. Sides are always good and the baklava is super tasty. I love this place because it’s right outside my apartment complex so it’s super quick and convenient
