We have been going to The Breakfast Company since shortly after it opened 3+ years ago. We went again this morning. We have NEVER been disappointed in their great food and equally terrific service. The menu is very extensive, with both simple and more deluxe items. Prices are fair. Today, our server Shannon, was completely on top of our dining needs. Everyone in this restaurant is friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The owner, Terry, sets a can-do and customer-focused atmosphere. This operation has been so successful that Terry and her family have opened a couple of other branches in Sarasota. THIS IS A CLASS OPERATION!

A busy Saturday morning, at such a fantastic establishment, you can expect a wait, but it is well worth it. Hands down the best breakfast we've ever had, outside of my own kitchen! The brioche French toast was light and fluffy, the option to get real maple syrup is a perfect pairing. The apple wood smoked bacon is absolutely fantastic. Veggie omelette, was so delicious and full of veggies! The home fried potatoes are seasoned and cooked perfectly. My absolute favorite was the marble rye toast, the most delicious bread I've ever had. And our server Ken was great!

If you want breakfast with a “ twist “, try this place. Wish we were aware sooner but Will remember the delicious breakfast choices and great service! Plus, theres a bakery with yummy choices! I had a unique Avocado Toast , with very thin sliced “watermelon radish”, crazy! Wasn’t sweet just a cool touch. Wish we had one on the East coast of Florida. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

I went to this place because the reviews were outstanding. That’s always a set up for a let down. Unfortunately, it was a letdown. My main issue is that breakfast for 2 cost me almost $44 (including 20%tip) and it wasn’t anything extra special. I got the brioche French toast, which was plain, no side meat and extra charge for real maple syrup, and an espresso. The table was rickety so some of the espresso sloshed out, and the waitress didn’t even bother to offer to top it off. On the website it looked like they have more bakery items. Overall it was okay but not really worth going out for.

Outstanding service tonight, we had "Geraldine & Mark" for our large party of 18. My good friends decided to celebrate their daughter's birthday here based on our recent recommendations. We told them that the food was excellent here but the service had been horrible. But our last three visit has again made this one of our favorite places. Everyone in the party thoroughly enjoyed their dinners, drinks, the service and the amazing views. One of this establishments is the view and the food. With the service vastly improved I strongly recommend this restaurant.

The food and service was absolutely excellent. We went right when they opened at 7am and there was already a few people ahead of us. We throughly enjoyed our meal.
The family atmosphere combined with the ample menu offerings of fabulous food made this a great place to have breakfast. The wait staff was courteous and accompanying to menu alternatives. The food was served piping hot and tasted great. Definitely will return for another meal.

We stumbled across this gem because it is a couple of doors down from our Grocery store. Basically, if you like breakfast, you'll love this place. Fresh and large portions at great prices and you just can't go wrong for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Biggest suggestion is to go to their website and use the "Add To Waitlist" where it will tell you when to arrive and go right in instead of waiting fir a table.
