Parade day in Bradenton. They let us in at the last minute to order to go (thanks!). Cole slaw, baked beans sides were both excellent. The whole spare ribs were prepared perfectly and were tender and easy to finish. The brisket was also excellent. Grabbing a couple of pounds to go is the way to go. Maybe some corn on the cob at home to add in making mom feel like she has a hand in the prep.

Fun place with delicious barbecue specialties and delicious sides. The portions are generous and well priced. They had a children's menu.

Got here at 10:44am for breakfast and the doors were closed. Even tried calling and the number is out of service. Why say the business is open when it clearly is not.

We met our friends here and had amazing BBQ, fabulous offering of side dishes and warm and friendly service! Sitting outside with weather was fabulous and they had huge fans as well!

We were visiting this week from CT and got take out one night from Pig Out after driving by and smelling it for a few days, we had to. We got take out for 8 and sampled a bunch of items, the price was reasonable, the Riblets were perfection and the cheesy grits will definitely keep me coming back next time were in town. Everything was amazing - Even the Ladies working!!

First time to the area and decided to stop for lunch. If you enjoy BBQ, the smells in this place were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The service was great. The food smelled and tasted great. We each had the pulled pork sandwich. I would guess it was close to a 1/3 - 1/2 lbs of meat on each. The fresh made sides were just as good too. Definitely a place we will visit again when we return.

Nice smoke chicken and ribs. You get nice portions. To me the 1/2 chicken was a little dry. The wing appetizer are good size full wings. They also have sole dishes as well. The decor is clean but a little dull. They have inside as well as outside sitting. Overall not a bad experience

Excellent food, wait staff were great, huge portions and super reasonable prices. Great dining area to sit and watch traffic go by.

By wanting to try this place as I drive by it all the time and finally made today the day. I got the pulled pork combo (sandwich and 2 sides) fried and Mac and cheese. All the food was very good the only thing I wish they had smoked the Mac and cheese. Staff was very friendly and service was quick as I got my meal to go (they pack the meat in a separate container and don’t make the sandwich so the bun doesn’t get soggy). Will definitely be back to try something else

If you want a fine dining experience this isn't the place for you. But if you love BBQ food it is one of the best. Excellent tasting food at a very reasonable price, we will definitely return when we are next in the area!

This place is amazing. The ribs were fantastic, the sides were delicious, and the portions were too large for any of us to finish. This never happens. You have to try this joint out.

The place has such a cool vibe and the chef and everyone else was so welcoming. It felt like we were having our own private dinner party. The food and wine was top notch. We will be backfor sure!

I lived in Austin, Tx for 17 years and I miss good Texas bar-b-q so I'm always on the lookout for bar-b-q joints around here. Drove past Pig Out numerous times so I finally stopped recently to give it a try. I only ordered the pulled pork sandwich, for experimental purposes. I figured if they could do a good pulled pork then maybe the rest is good, and I'll go back. I got it to go and when I opened the box 15 minutes later I was pleasantly surprised to find the bread was separate from the meat and the sauces that were in individual tubs, Two kinds of sauce. A mustard type and a standard dark/sweet one. The pork itself was in a container all by it's lonesome and sealed tight. When I opened the lid I got all excited because it was hot, juicy and smelled like Texas. There was also A LOT of it, I mean a lot!!! Seemed like at least 3/4 of a pound if not more. It was a meal within itself. I kid you not! the buns were the old fashion type and huge, like 6 inches or more huge. I tried the brisket another time but I wasn't as impressed with it but it was still good, none the less. I got fries with it and the fries were how I like them, with the skin on. That's all I've tried so far, ribs are next, then chicken. I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich. If you don't like that you need to have your taste buds calibrated. Cheers!
