Sorry! I really enjoyed my Cubano regular sandwich, and only remembered to take a photo after finishing most of it. Loved this sandwich! And there are a number of versions available. The soups are hearty and flavorful as well. Do yourself a flavor favor ? and enjoy this restaurant.

If this is the home of the Cuban sandwich, you’re probably don’t want to go “home.” Food was acceptable, but not exceptional. The sandwich tasted like a typical sandwich shop.
And why they don’t offer chips at least with a sandwich makes no sense? Everything is extra!
Why don’t servers realize that a smile and being pleasant increases their tip and bottom line?

what an adorable little gem of a place... friendly people, it's quiet and cozy. Very clean ? the food was good but I can't say great. we ordered a wide variety of food, we both got Cubans with extra pickles, they were dry we didn't get extra pickles, hubby had none, he asked for double meat, they didn't do double meat, we both got potatoe balls which were pretty good basic but good, he got yellow rice and black beans which was ok.. I got flan he got rice pudding... like I said the food was good, but not what I bragged to my hubby about, I had been there a few years ago. It was better then.

Best of Cuban good and taste in Sarasota. The guarapo brought me back to when my mom and dad used to cut sugar canes in Cuban, and I was just a little boy hanging for the day.
The food was ok the waitress was not friendly when we asked questions about the foods ingredients because we had someone in our party that was allergic to certain things she seemed annoyed.
