My wife & I often like to go out for breakfast and after going to other breakfast restaurants in the Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch area we discovered Mademoiselle Paris at UTC and have made them one of our regular go to places for breakfast. It's a cute place that in some ways reminds me of eating in a French bistro in Paris but it's not a small place and the service is fantastic. Their crepes are out of this world and the egg sandwich on a buttery croissant with Swiss cheese is to die for. There are so many delicious choices on their menu but these are two of our favorites. Did I mention they are also a French bakery with lots of fresh pastries and desserts? Their tiramisu is truly special. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

Refrain from ordering online for takeout. This practice can be time-consuming, especially during periods of heavy traffic. Upon arrival, you may discover that your order is unavailable due to stockouts, without any prior notification or explanation. In such cases, they may either refuse to fulfill the order or charge you for it without offering any sympathy or apology.

Additionally, there have been recent reports of poor service at this establishment.

Apparently they can’t find the order until I enclosed a picture of my receipt.

In response to the unsatisfactory take out experience, I initiated an email to the establishment’s owner. Subsequently, I initiated a partial refund for the unserved food items. The owner promptly processed the refund and offered a gift card for our next visit.

However, I am hesitant to return to the establishment due to the lack of training among the staff regarding proper customer service. The incident of making a two-hour round trip with traffic for no food is unacceptable and reflects a disregard for customer satisfaction.

The dessert at this restaurant was nothing short of extraordinary. I ordered the Chocolate Fondant, and it was pure decadence. The molten center was perfectly gooey, oozing rich, velvety chocolate with each bite. Paired with a scoop of creamy vanilla bean ice cream, the contrast of warm and cold was divine.

My friend tried the Lemon Tart, and it was a masterpiece – tangy, sweet, and with a buttery crust that crumbled perfectly. You could tell the ingredients were of the highest quality, and the presentation was impeccable.

If you’re a dessert lover, this place is a must-visit. Their attention to detail and flavor combinations make for a truly memorable experience. I’ll be dreaming about that dessert for weeks!

Beef Burgundy.
The meat, “un bocato di cardenale,” soaked in red wine and sweetened to perfection, paired beautifully with mushrooms and onions. Each bite transported me back to my grandmother's house, where flavors were savored from start to finish. The carrots had a satisfying texture, melting in my mouth with every chew, while the cherry tomatoes added a fresh, juicy burst to this delightful feast.

To finish my meal, I indulged in crème brûlée, topped with a small caramelized strawberry. Its sweet and tangy notes left me yearning for a return to Mademoiselle Paris. Every ingredient and spice the chef used elevated this beef stew to new heights, making the experience truly unforgettable.

Mademoiselle Café is a wonderful spot with great customer service. The staff are friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The bar seating by the window is perfect for people watching, while the more intimate tables offer a cozy setting.

The coffee is delicious, and their pastries are always fresh and satisfying. I highly recommend Mademoiselle Café for anyone looking to enjoy good coffee and tasty treats in a pleasant environment.

Came here for dinner. We made reservation about 3 weeks ahead. We shared 4 dishes and baguette, and appetizer with 4 person, each ordered a glass of wine and dessert. Food was great and the atmosphere was sophisticated and romantic. Live accordion music was great and Isabelle the manager was wonderful
