Got some of the best food and ice in town
Got me this Harry Potter icy you the sorting hat decides your flavor y’all gotta come try it
Better than Rita’s and Jeremiah’s the sour spray was divine it was perfect after the beach which is perfect considering how hot it is, it took my headache away completely !!!!definately recommend 👍
This is our favorite place in Bradenton to cool off with ice cold treats and fun games at the arcade annex next door!
The new owners are very kind and generous and we enjoy every visit that keeps us coming back again and again! 🫶
Unfortunately not the same after being sold. After so many years of wonderful owners, food and service it was a sad surprise when we visited last week. A nonfriendly boy took our order and slammed the receipt down at us. I tipped generously as always and immediately regretted it. The custard recipe is different and not as creamy and doesn't taste right. My cousin found a full peanut in the middle of her gelato. She is not allergic but another cousin that was not with us at the time has a deadly peanut allergy. After 20 plus years we will not be returning unless any of the previous owners purchase it. On a positive note the honeydew ice was delicious but did have a full peanut hidden in the middle of it. :( First negative review I've ever left in my life. Maybe it was just an off day.
Coco Joe’s in Bradenton is a hidden gem for great food, cold Italian ice and a laid-back Florida vibe! The staff is welcoming, the service is fast, and the menu hits the spot every time.
Shoutout to the LEGEND Carter behind the counter!!!
Very chill environment. Arcade games are challenging but definitely not rigged. Cheesy bread was good too.
So, we usually go to another ice place but decided to try Coco Joe's this time because of the different flavors. Wow! First, the texture is amazing! Second, you could tell exactly what each flavor was. Peach, strawberry/guava, then churro... all delicious! We have a new fave place!
Best Italian ice I’ve had! The new owner James greeted my family and I, and was really personable! Highly recommend to anyone that wants a treat!
I was lucky enough to catch some Coco Joe’s while hanging out at Jewfish yesterday! The owner and his associate, Kelly, were cruising around selling some of the best flavors of Italian ice they offer! They were both very friendly and I love the idea of being able to get the best cold treat on a hot day at the beach!

This place beats the socks off of Jeremiah's Italian Ice! Coco Joe's has fabulous Italian ice and very reasonable prices! I will definitely be back!
The young man helping us was so so patient.
Love the ices here
We were born and raised on Coco Joes! We used to love to go there and get the “Combo” (Italian ice and custard). I don’t know what the new owners have changed but it is NOT like it used to be. The last several times going there the ice has tasted sour and just not good, it’s sad to say we won’t be going back 😭
Wish they stuck to italian ice.. the food was below average. Stale buns and bland flavors. Fantastic ice as usual though!
Coco Joe’s Italian Ice is a true gem! The owner is incredibly kind and goes out of his way to make sure every customer feels welcome and taken care of. You can tell he really cares about the quality of the food and the experience!
I ordered the Pastrami Reuben sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly toasted and full of flavor. For dessert, I had a combo of piña colada and mojito gelato with vanilla custard… wow! So refreshing, creamy, and full of tropical flavor!
Everything was made with love, just like the owner himself. Highly recommend stopping by and supporting this amazing local spot—you won’t be disappointed!
