We had so much fun at the Cottonwood last Sun evening. Dinner of small plates creative comfort food (collard greens, baked goat cheese with tomato salata, crabcake and fried green tomatoes) accompanied by the most joyous, inclusive, eclectic funk-and-blues jam. Felt like a celebration of spring, life, warm winds, and companionship. A very memorable night!

Quiet rainy Friday evening so not a big crowd and no live music, but the food was excellent, the service was attentive and efficient, and since it was slow we had a nice conversation with the owner. We will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian and vegan options but we don’t try them this time.

We when to Cottonmouth to see Doug Deming & The Jewel Tone. What a great place large outside seating. I had to order the green and they were outstanding. We also ordered the Fried Chicken it was crispy and moist. Kevin our waiter was really good, considering there were only two to service the outside. It is really a great place to try and enjoy.

Chloe and Scott (daughter and owner, respectively) were warm and welcoming to our rambunctious group after a Pirates spring training game. Their food was HOT, DELICIOUS, and SOUTHERN. The collard greens were perfectly seasoned. The fried chicken had crispy thin crunchy skin that laid overtop a deliciously moist meat. Service was prompt and attentive.
