Food was good, typical dim sum flavors nothing special but not bad either. The service could use a little improvement, we sat down and it took them a good 10 minutes before anyone came to our table. Not even water or drinks before the 10 minutes. Then the server finally came it was an old lady with glasses and she did not look happy to serve us, felt no hospitality from her. We didn’t even get the correct menu when we sat down.m because we wanted dim-sum and it was separate menu, we had to ask the old lady for it, kind of ridiculous. The other younger looking lady was pretty nice when she came to our table.

The older lady with glasses this morning definitely not happy with her life. Then negative energy from her was way too strong that she is no qualified to be a server. We do feel bad for her that's why we left a good amount of tips for a terrible service. Hopefully she will be happy when she sees the tips.

If you’re looking for authentic dim sum in a warm and inviting setting, Dim Sum Kitchen is a must visit! This tiny, quaint restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. The customer service was outstanding prompt, friendly, and genuinely attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Despite the small size, the space feels cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing meal or catching up with friends.
The food arrived fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious, with clear care put into every dish. The staff managed a busy dining room effortlessly, ensuring everyone felt looked after and that service never lagged. It’s rare to find such a combination of great food and exemplary service in such an intimate little spot. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to return!

Best dim sum and everyone knows it. If you want a seat, you have to arrive at least 30 minutes before they open to wait in line. They are well worth that wait though! Great food, great service!

Food is good but there was a piece of lead or metal in my food? Do they stir with pencils?

Average spot for steamed dumplings and a large Chinese variety.

Finally, a legit Dim Sum and Chinese place within the reasonable distance, and not requiring a drive to Clearwater/Tampa. Great food

Best Dim Sum in Florida and great Chinese food. Expect to wait for seating or carry out, but worth the wait.

Always Hungry

Extremely poor service and favoritism shown by this establishment. We were seated right away and had placed our order already. 2 white families came 20 minutes after us and still received their food before us. No beverages were refilled and the waitress expressed great annoyance when speaking to us. Is it because she thought we were Chinese?

Mediocre food and portion sizes were decent. Take out orders are prioritized over dine-in. First and last time here, not coming back.

Not my favorite. There are a ton of Chinese restaurants. If you live close, go here, sure... but... there's no need to do what I did and drive up from South Sarasota.

Very disappointed with the shrimp toast (mostly hard bread with the tiniest bit of shrimp in the center) and the scallop and shrimp with mixed vegetables was mostly broccoli. Maximum 3 shrimps and 2 small scallops very thinly sliced.

Dim Sum Kitchen is the best Chinese restaurant in this area. The food is excellent and served hot and fresh. Seating is quite limited, so you'll probably have to wait for a table, but it's well worth the wait.
