We’ve supported this place for years
During Covid we ordered carry out and left large tips to the staff.
I ordered 2 dim sum yesterday and they want to charge me for 2 chili
This was ridiculous
I asked for my money back
I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
I’m going to tell everyone I know my experience

Tonight’s hot & sour soup was outstanding! It was really really good. Fried rice, dumplings were good as usual but the soup was amazing!!!

Great food. Authentic tastes. Good place to frequent.

New waitresses are RUDE and disrespectful. They do not listen and talk down to customers. Very unprofessional, poor service. I consider myself a regular diner here but recently due to horrible attitudes and behavior of the new waitresses, I’m not going back. Food is bland and mediocre at best, but it’s one of very few dim sum places in Sarasota, so I patronized it. However, no one deserves to be treated poorly. So that’s it for me.

Went here for lunch with a group and ordered one of the lunch specials, which comes with a refillable drink. The waiters came to the table twice, once to take our order, another time to bring the food out. When the food was brought out, myself and another person had already finished a cup of the drink since some time had passed. The waiters did not bother to refill the drinks and not once in the many times they passed by while we were eating did they refill the drinks. Eventually, after already finishing my food, I was able to flag down a waitress and ask for a refill.
When my bill came around later, I decided not to leave a tip since the service was below the bare minimum standards. The waitress came to the table and started telling that I forgot to leave a tip, trying to guilt me into leaving a tip by getting the table’s attention. I stood my ground.
We went there again a few weeks later and this time the service was fine, so I was planning to leave a tip. Instead, when I get my bill they already have a forced tip added on to my bill specifically and tried to make me pay it. Needless to say, I had the tip removed and have not returned since.

Pretty disappointed. We ordered take out on Sunday night- I used to order from them all the time but it’s been a while. The fried rice used to be great but when I opened it up was totally white with very little flavor or seasonings. We actually recooked it ourselves- you can see the rice I got on the right and after we fixed it ourselves. I’ll skip this place next time.

Clean, delicious dim sum! Better than the location by Lakewood ranch!! Try their rice rolls for lunch or homemade rice noodles with XO sauce for dinner. Or stop in for some tea & Portuguese custards! The pork buns are very sweet. This takes me back to New York City chinatown (of course nothing compares but this comes close). Not your typical junky Chinese food establishment - this place is different- no wonder they are packed!

Very good food with a nice selection. Hours a not the best and limited evening menu is not optimal.
