The ambience is, as often in the USA, quite simple, but the staff were very friendly and quick and the food was very tasty! It came to the table quickly and warm and tasted very good, I'm looking forward to my next visit!

When you're on vacations with your entire family you know for a fact we are only eating Chinese cuisine. We found Dim Sum King through Yelp so this was it for our breakfast. It stated that it recently opened in Sarasota so we were like cool let's give it a try!According to my cousin who was getting married this weekend and comes with his wife all the time it's good so we had to give it a try then again there were only two choices for dim sum in Sarasota area. With that being said, dim sum is available all the time. Good soups which come in very big bowls that serve 4-6! We love their seafood and Tofu Soup. Dim Sum selections are heavy on shrimp fillings but everything we tried was good. We had chicken feet, steamed spare ribs in black bean sauce, steamed bbq pork buns, crispy fried sesame balls, pan fried turnip cake, Shu Mai, Hong Kong style egg tarts, crispy baked boq pork buns (wayyyy too sweet for me), deep fried taro cake, steamed rice beef rolls, Portuguese style creme brûlée tart (to die for! 50o delicious), sticky rice, and the list goes on, mind we were about 30 of us almost filled up the entire restaurant!Service was extremely slow and some waiters were a bit rude but sometimes slow the kitchen was often slammed with take out especially we went on Friday (food wasn't very fresh) then on Sunday was sooo delicious; go on Sunday's for dim sum!The food itself was delicious so it was worth the occasional wait! Plus if you have to wait for a little it means it's fresh!Vegetarian options: Some itemsDietary restrictions: Some itemsParking: First come first serve basisKid-friendliness: If your child isn’t a picky eater!

Ordered ginger with scallion and beefthere was more ginger on the dish than beef. Ginger was overwhelming.Ordered house special chow fun it comes with beef, chicken, roast port and shrimp. We literally received 1 small piece of chicken 1 small piece of beef 1 small piece of roast pork and 2 small shrimp along with a few chow fun noodlesThe food was tasty but the portions were small and expensive given the amount of meat that came with each dish. The meat that came with the dish was not enough to feed my Yorkshire Terrier $1.00 for a small bowl of rice was ridiculous.I had high hopes for this restaurant but left disappointed. I will not be returning.

I ate at the DimSum King for dinner and woke up at 2am with a ferocious case of food poisoning. I was on the toilet for the next five hours until 7am when my roommates drove me to the hospital because I was worried about dehydration (couldn’t keep anything down, strong fever, weakness, trembling). An extremely unpleasant experience I wish on very few people. Needless to say, I will never be going back.

Worst non-dining experience in my 77 years! My meal and another were delivered to other tables that came in after us and were not delivered to us at all.Even though we told them we didn't want the food, as our companions were finished eating , they left my meal on the bill and charged the amount of my $16.99 meal to my husband's $13.99 meal. Very dissatisfied.

Order dim sum off the menu, no carts for the traditionalists. We've loved everything we've ordered (other than messing up and ordering items containing meat). The entrees look great, but we haven't had room to try any so far. Excellent tea, bar if you're so inclined.
Very happy with the quality of the food and service. I have found the staff here to be very helpful and professional. Large selection of Dim Sum items and great tasting soup..Long live the

Way overpriced, food was not that good at all too, just for an entree it was $15 and didnt taste that good at all. Order of seafood fried rice, general tso's chicken and a "chinese pancake appetizer" was almost $40. Will not be going back

Dim sum ro order all day is a dream come true. Even though we arrived 40 minutes before closing time we were allowed to eat inside, people after is weren't so lucky they had to order to go. As a native NYer who has eaten on numerous authentic dim sum places this is a great place in Florida.Shrimp dumplings are an A, the wrapper could have been a little bit thinner.Fried shrimp balls are an A+, crispy ribbons of fried goodness outside large stuffed juicy shrimps in the ball. I would go here just for these.Steamed dumplings are a B, couldn't distinguish the type of meat inside Stuffed eggplant are an A, good sauce and stuffing ratio.Turnip cakes are a B, slightly pasty.Rice noodles are a C, about 3 thin strips each of chicken, pork and squid, for the price there should have been more protein and it was salty.Staff was pleasant and checked on us often. Service was fast. We weren't bother by them cleaning the back of the restaurant while we ate up front.Would definitely go back and recommend if you're a dim sum lover.
