A bit surprised at the bad reviews. We have been here a couple times now and have only had great experiences. Today our server was Jordan. He was exceptional! Awesome personality..made sure our food was to our liking. Food was great..all staff members we re Super pleasant. Definitely will go back.

Great club sandwich, they really pile on the meat, fries were fresh and crisp. Heard several people comment on their way out that their food was excellent. I'll definitely visit more often.

We've been coming to Eastside Diner for about eight months since moving to the area because of its convenience to our home, which has been our motivating factor for choosing to eat there. Sadly, the service in the past four months or so has deteriorated to the point that we'd rather drive farther from home to grab a quick meal. We've eaten there at least 50 times this year, and every time we go it's as though they've never seen us before. We are rarely greeted with a "Hello" and never once have they said "Hey, good to see you again". They're like robots that only know how to seat people and take orders. The servers have absolutely no personality or even show a desire to make your experience pleasant. They don't introduce themselves or greet you when they approach the table, and just ask you what you want to drink and walk away. We've had repeatedly bad service from Kiannah, who is as cold as ice. We've never received a smile or greeting or "thank you" in at least a dozen visits where she was our server. On our last visit we felt as if we were imposing on her time by coming in to eat and that she'd rather be doing anything else but serving customers. I honestly can't even comprehend how they earn enough tips to survive with that attitude. I mean, Cracker Barrel has friendlier wait staff for crying out loud. This is the farthest thing from what I would consider a traditional diner, since I thought neighborhood diners were supposed to be friendly and make you feel welcome (and want to return).

If I could give it zero I would. I ordered my food from bitesquad which this is no complaint against them. I am from Detroit so when a restaurant claims to have amazing Detroit coneys and pitas I expect to be impressed. I was quickly disappointed when my food arrived. I couldn't eat the fries because they were so overly cooked they were hard as rocks. The chicken was definitely old and sitting for hours and cooked in old brown oil. Honestly y'all need to get your act together and change your oil and actually make food fresh.

What can I say other than this Detroit girl FINALLY found a coney Island restaurant in Florida. Clean, great service with a big menu. If you enjoy a loose meat coney they are incredible! Generous portions of breakfast too! My new go to place!

Ordered a lunch special pita which comes with a cup of soup. Got all the way back to work and realized no soup and chicken salad had no flavor.

I love diners, and "real" diners are so rare in Florida. So, I was naturally excited to try East Side Diner with my wife. We don't have high standards for diners; we expect decent food, a broad menu, reasonable pricing, good portions and reasonably attentive service, optional counter seating...all hallmarks of a good diner.
