I love this place. My husband and I discovered this place shortly after we moved to Florida, and it's already become a favorite place for us to grab a few tacos. This restaurant is in a food court in the Red Barn Flea Market and we make a point of eating there every week or two. The Red Barn is only open on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We have always gotten their tacos, four for ten bucks. We have always gotten steak and we get them with cilantro and onion (heavy on the cilantro). I'm pretty sure you can also get them with lettuce and cheese, and maybe tomato.........not real sure about that. The tacos (and just about everything else on the menu) comes with your choice of two salsas.........additional salsa is fifty cents each. My husband always gets the green.......I don't do salsa......I prefer to focus on the cilantro and onions. The steak is very well seasoned and they don't skimp. You definitely get your money's worth. I'm so glad we discovered this place.

I want to bathe in their menudo. Okay , maybe not actually but it did slap. It was full of tripe pieces and I washed it down with some refreshing horchata. This is located in the center of the Red Barn flea market and the flag decor make it hard to miss. Definitely eat here when you're getting hungry from shopping around hehe.

The food is always good. I get the pork tacos with cilantro and onions. I would have given 5 stars but they no longer have the guacamole sauce to put on your food. The guacamole sauce was what set thos place apart from other places that serve tacos in the area.

The food is always great. Their hot sauce is the best. Food comes out quick. Service is bilingual. Crowded have someone grab a table anywhere.

This place used to be called Maria's. The recipes still seem to be the same. I always get the Chicken Tacos. I've been patronizing this spot for 23 years, and sometimes come to the Red Barn JUST to eat here. The seasoning used for the tacos are a deep red, it's chicken Tinga flavor. It's not Tex-Mex, it's not bland, and it's not what you usually find at American Mexican restaurants. It's shredded chicken in a red chipotle pepper sauce made from tomatoes, onions, adobo sauce with chilis, and spices. It's SO GOOD HERE. The tortillas are made fresh. Make sure to ask for lettuce, tomato, sour cream ( get it all the way) then add the Pico and put it on there, along with a little red, green, avocado sauce. It's heaven; I love it. Best Tacos in Bradenton-Sarasota area that I've ever had. Everywhere else pales in comparison (that I've I tried thus far in 23 years living here.)

All the tortills are all made there and are corn and not wheat, so I can easily get good gluten free entrees.Dietary restrictions: Easy to get gluten free options.

Im a native southern Californian, I grew up eating authentic Mexican food. This was typical of what’s passed off here as the real thing. I ordered the carne asada and it was not seasoned and had the consistency like it had been on the steam table for hours. For a much better experience try The Spot Tacos less than a mile away.

I normally like this place. The chili rellenis are a favorite. Not today. They didn't clean out the seeds in the poblanos. They put tooth pics in which I was unable to see. I nearly injured my mouth when taking a bit of the food because of the unseen toothpicks. The seeds made the poblanos super spicy. It brought tears to my eyes and triggered my sinuses. Whoever did the prep was not aware of customer safety(toothpicks) or concerns (removal of seeds). I love the food at this establishment but will avoid it until tourists are gone.Vegetarian options: Chili relleanis are one of my favorites. They will accommodate to dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: I noticed a few young kids so kid friendly.

Best Mexican food! Gorditas, taco salad and a bottle of water for $21. Huge amount of food and hands down the best taco salad I’ve ever had (and I’ve had quite a few ?).
