When we got there it said open at 12. Internet and original sign said 10. Came back about 1 to see they were closed for business.

As an omnivore and decidedly NOT a vegan, Happy Soul defies all expectations. This food is seasoned and soulful. My faves are the empanadas and the mac and cheese. Give them a try!

This place is now completely GF and sugar free. The BBQ jackfruit would have been much better on a bun. The brussels sprouts were excellent and served with a nice sauce. Incredibly expensive for the lack of atmosphere, slow service, and counter ordering.

Got 2 sides of Mac and cheese both of them together is less than 1 side I would’ve gotten at another restaurant. Been vegan for 5 years I’ve been to over 1000 vegan restaurants. This was the smallest portion of food I ever got. And the bbq jackfruit sandwich was extremely tiny as well. Really wanted to love this place but they need to do better with their portions. The hibiscus drink tasted like water. Every time I get hibiscus drinks they are sweetened with agave but this one tasted like just water and food coloring. Also the empanadas have xanthan gum in it which is a very dangerous ingredient they put it in toothpaste. When swallowed it can cause digestive issues. Be careful ordering empanadas from here

Paula makes the most delicious vegan comfort food. I am NOT a vegan, and I still love everything she makes. The Cuban sandwich and Mac and Cheez are my favorites, as well as the Brussels sprouts. Be sure to check out some of the tasty desserts and the purple butterfly tea as well.

The restaurant is located in Palmetto in a cute historic building, which is always fun to visit. Whether you're a vegan, vegetarian, or carnivore, I highly recommend visiting Happy Soul!

We met a beautiful soul & spirit (Paula) today at this new Vegan discovery in Palmetto, FL (Sarasota, Bradenton area). Thank you so much for the love shown in your food, customer service and conversation... You already know we're family ? now. We'll definitely be back. Go check her out... 6 years and going on 66 more ... That's what she said. Lol ? It is well in our Souls today... Let's eat!

Holy guacamole. Just kidding. I didn't have any guacamole. But the burger I had was absolutely out of this world!!! I had the Jaffe burger with Brussel sprouts and a Lavender Tea.Absolutely amazing. Brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. Bread on the Jaffe burger was crisp and flaky, and the texture on the patty was thorough, consistent and it was even juicy too! Top it off with their homemade seasoning and aioli, you might forget you're eating a vegan burger.So flavorful and fresh. Huge portions, lovingly made. No doubt about it.My only suggestion would be maybe less ice in the Tea? As I found myself definitely craving more!Give this place a go, you'll feel like a king afterwards. Or maybe just a happy soul. :)
