The service was not good at all. There were two young guys there who didn't know anything about customer service and no management on site. The food was ok and barely warm when I got it to my car. I bought a lot of food and spent over $30. Sadly, I would not be returning to this restaurant nor would I be giving recommendations.

I agree with others who have said the food quality has gone downhill. There was only one rice option, whereas there used to be multiple in the past. No more baba ghanoush, which was always a favorite. The food was also very salty.

We had bowls and wraps. Do NOT get the shawarma chicken. It’s absolutely awful. Not made in the shawarma grill as real shawarma should be and then shaved for order. Chicken tasted old, made on a dirty grill as it was bitter. Rice was crunchy as it was the bottom of a burnt pot and they scraped it off. The beef/lamp did not look appetizing at all. Got the falafel balls(more like pucks) and they were very thin and over cooked. Not a great food experience.

We were in and out in under 7 minutes. Everything is clean. Even the kitchen you can see right in.
I went to Hummus Bay for the first time since the management changed and I was very disappointed. The interior looked mostly the same but I immediately noticed they didn’t have the mint tea I always get. Then just from first glance the ingredients looked different. From the rice to the pickles I could tell there was a big change. When I got home and ate my bowl I noticed a huge lack of flavor compared to before in the cauliflower and pita chips specifically. On top of that the side pita wasn’t warm and didn’t open easily like before and the pita chips were not seasoned anymore.
The staff was friendly but they weren’t even wearing hummus bay shirts. I’m sad to see a beloved favorite changed.

Hummus Bay/ Guac Shop
The quality of food at Guac Shop has significantly declined, and the portion sizes are unreasonably small. This restaurant used to be our favorite when it was Hummus Bay, but unfortunately, it has become just another subpar dining spot. To make matters worse, the gentleman with the shorthand was giving the bare minimum on food, which only added to the disappointment. It’s truly unfortunate to see such a drastic change.
Not the same since new owners took over. Why change a good thing? Chicken schwarma is no longer cooked to order. It’s s pre cooked and drying out on a steam table. It was dry and tasteless. Asked for extra sauce, no can do. The flavors in the rice and side dishes were off. We were regular customers. Won’t be going back.

Excellent customer service, great food, sauces aren't the most consistent - they change depending on who makes them, so I watch that. Sometimes the sauces are really flavorful and super delicious. The bowls seemed pricey (for my budget, not for this type of food) until I realized I can eat 2 meals in one if I get the more filling sides! It's something fresh and a bit different than the same old restaurants. But I love this place and come often.
