Bottom Line. It was awful. I've only had worse Hummus once in my life and I love Hummus. I ordered the Beef Shwarma and the meat was dry almost like Jerky and over spiced. There was also a very present stench by the bathrooms.

I wish I could leave a wonderful review, but our first visit (probably last) was a disappointment. There was a disconnect between the menu board and the information from staff which made the ordering a complicated and uncertain affair. The staff was pleasant but didn't seem "up to speed" with helping customers. My wrap was tasty and about what I would have expected. My companion's bowl was not very good; the beef was tough and very dry. The bathrooms were not clean.

To start off, the hummus at Hummus Bay is nothing short of delicious . It is creamy and perfectly seasoned. Furthermore, the tender beef at Hummus Bay is absolutely amazing. The marinated beef is grilled to perfection, and served with some fragrant yellow rice; it’s just the perfect match. I just love eating here. Moreover, the customer service is great & the Spanish speaking young girl that takes my order was literally the nicest person, she is always very cheery & kind. Hummus Bay is definitely my favorite restaurant.

Our favorite local place for falafel. It is delicious every time! I don't know her name, but the young lady who usually takes care of us (short blonde hair) is very nice. She is always friendly and helpful.

Boy have things changed at Hummus Bay. After coming here quite a few times under the old ownership (20+ times), we see a big difference. Portion size is way smaller, and the staff is less knowledgeable. They couldn't even understand our vegan needs. They even put beef on my husband's wrap! Also, we were always able to get salt free fries. We always just got the sumac on them. The sumac used to be high quality, but you can tell the difference when the sumac is mostly salt. The quality just isn't there that used to be. I guess this is our last visit.Dietary restrictions: Not vegan friendly with the current staff!!!!

Have been going to hummus bay since it opened and have always had good, fresh food. This last time I went and got food, the chicken was hard and tasted old. I heard they were under new management so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it but it’s disappointing since we spent almost $100 that night on food from there. Will not be going back anymore.

This place stinks. Twice now I have come in at 8 and been treated very rudely, like how dare I come into buy food an hour before they close, and tonight, they refused to make more rice, the cook was so rude and just shook his head while looking at me like I was scum, an hour before closing mind you, after having attitude that I wanted 3 bowls and all this after the girl behind the counter looked right at me, made contact when I was next in line, and turned to the young boy behind me and said, what can I get for you and proceeded to bag up a togo order of hummus and 4 pita, ring him up and then leave me waiting for a couple more minutes before she "helped me" with attitude. What is wrong with people? It wasnt 5 minutes before closing. We will NEVER come here again. Just awful.

Best bowl in town. Fresh cut shawarma (chicken or beef), fab housemate Mediterranean toppings. There are so many sauces that it's hard to decide. Must try!

One of the best Mediterranean places here. Bowls are enough for two meals. Their falafel and hummus are good.

I love trying new Mediterranean food as I travel, so when I saw Hummus Bay, I was excited to try it. Service and portions were great and huge. The food was overall phenomenal, I think the best hummus I’ve ever had actually. Why only 4 stars? I go to Mediterranean food places for the baba ghanoush, and Hummus Bay’s baba is terrible! Some decent seasoning of it would have made a huge difference, but as it was, it was inedible. I’ve never ordered baba from somewhere and it been so bad I wouldn’t eat it. The chicken, toppings, rice and hummus - all wonderful, but they need to fix their baba recipe.

Wednesday night. Google said open until 9pm. Drove all the way there, all the lights were on and bright signs saying open. I walked in at 8:44pm and they would not take my order, stated they were closed. Extremely disappointed. Will not be going back.

Should be impossible for a shawarma, but my chicken shawarma was bland. It's fine overall as just a wtap, but if you're looking for legit Mediterranean food or specifically a shawarma, you're better off finding local small business/ family run spot.
