Inner Compass Brewing Company at LWR

I hate leaving bad reviews especially when I have only have been here one time, but this was a horrible first impression. I was looking forward to trying it out, but I come here for the first time and ask the bartender if there’s any hoppy beers they would recommend, and their response was “don’t ask for my opinion, because I think anything hoppy or IPA’s taste like sweaty sock water” wow okay, thanks for that. It was like I was bothering her. The nachos tasted like cafeteria food from school, the cheese sauce wasn’t even hot and tasted stale. I have never seen nachos look so depressing. I don’t say these things to bash a business, I just wanted to bring light to a situation in hopes that it improves.

Food was good service was nice, atmosphere was pleasant. Overall great 1st experience here.

I wish I would have take A picture. We came in for bingo and smash burgers, the smash burgers were shameful. I wish I would have taken a picture. Before we even took a bite I said to the waiter this doesn’t look anything like a smash burger and he said it doesn’t does it and moves on. They were $7 with no side and when I tell you they were pathetic, it was worse than a children cheese burger at McDonald’s 🥺 it was sad .im not sure we will be back. I don’t know what the pout is of bringing something to the restaurants attentions does. I feel like I was robbed x2.

You can judge for yourself but definitely not a fan of so many other choices in the area don’t waste your money. Went and had something we thought was terrible. They did not care and would not replace. Bad customer service from the team. Never an apology or any chance to make it right. We always like to give a second chance and this was the second chance. We went to Ruth Chris happy hour and it was cheaper than this and better.

We have tried them twice. Not guest hospitality focused. I personally would never recommend or go again. We went with a group of 20 and had a bad experience but wanted to give it another try. We went with 3 people and the food was mediocre at best and unless you get beer the drinks are not good. Not a great happy hour. Stick with Chilis or Ed’s. At least if something is wrong there they fix it. They could care less at Compass.

Drove out of our way to go here on Saturday at 5:30. Website says open, Google says open, and AppleMaps/Yelp says open. Little white piece of paper on the door says Closed for Private Event. All of the above mentioned services allow business owners quick and easy ability to mark themselves temporarily closed or closed, or special hours to avoid this exact thing.

Great service, great atmosphere, great drinks (full bar), great food! Plenty of parking, outdoor seating overlooking the lake.

This place definitely had potential, the location is nice and the outside seating area was welcoming. The food was disappointing and very bland. The beers were good but not good enough to go back. The final nail in the coffin was the service. Place wasn’t busy and our bartender was not attentive at all. Had to ask multiple times to put in our order and we had to ask multiple times for refills on our beers. Take the drive down to Big Top, food is a million times better, service is better and the beers are better. Will not be back!

Really wanted to like this place since it is locally owned. They need to disclose alcohol prices.

We visited this place for the first time and were very impressed.

The service was very good, and the food was too!

I got the beef burger which was lovely. Thick juicy burger, cooked medium as requested. The fries were really good, fluffy inside and crispy on the outside, and plenty of them.

My wife's pizza was amazing though. Lovely dough with plenty of toppings.

We will definitely be eating here again!

We love Inner Compass! The staff is so friendly, and the space is incredible. We love how they've made improvements over the past few months to continue to make the outdoor space more kid-friendly, including a great playground, and they recently added a doggy space as well. We held our daughter's birthday party here and the staff couldn't have been better to work with in planning, set up, and taking care of us during the event! Highly recommend Inner Compass for a beer or hosting an event!

We had a great experience on Saturday for lunch! The food was great, the atmosphere sitting outside was so nice, and the owner was super-friendly. I had the philly cheesesteak with fries, and my husband had the special - a bowl of chili topped with onions and cheese and a loaded grilled cheese sandwich. It was all very tasty!

We will be back!

What a fun spot! Drinks and food were great. Our waiter Tim was awesome! We will def be back.
