Kuro Sushi

Food was outstanding, service was amazing, and ambiance was nice. The manager and our waitress were very engaging and we learned a lot about how some of the foods are prepared. This will definitely be our "go to" restaurant.

First time here. Seriously sophisticated and authentic Japanese food. After 2 decades in Sarasota, I am pleasantly shocked at finding a rare real Japanese restaurant (ie not westernized). Thank you for the wonderful meal. We will be back!

The food was outstanding. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful, very attentive and helpful with the menu. Can't say enough about it. 

Food is amazing. Service was very good. Disappointing we couldn't sit inside (tables were an available) and had to endure the chaos outside.

Sat at the bar, just made it for happy hour, great happy hour prices. Everything we ordered, we ordered a lot of food, and all of it was excellent. My favorite was the pork belly. Definitely will be going back.

I went to Kuro Sushi for family dinner, with husband and 3 years old. Food was amazing. We love it so much. Seafood was so fresh. 10/10 Service was great! Lekky took care of us. She was very helpful and gave us very good recommendation on a dish. Definitely will come back here again

I went there with my boyfriend and the ambiance was very romantic. Everything we had was simple yet delicious and we kept ordering more and more. The service was great and they seemed to be knowledgable about the menu! The sushi rice tasted kinda sweet and it was delightful. I would say that the price was kinda high though. I would do it again in a heart beat! Overall I loved the whole experience!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We went to Kuro last night and everything we ate was phenomenal. From the fried rice to the rolls, every bite was incredible. The drinks were perfectly made, and the ube cheesecake was the absolute highlight — such a unique and delicious dessert. Overall, it was an amazing dinner experience with outstanding food from start to finish. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I recently ate at Kuro Sushi on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch. Interesting menu, food was very good, and service was excellent. We shared the Tartar (it was so good we reordered more); a roll with salmon, tuna, and yellowtail; corn tempura, and edamame. We will definitely return.

Well, this place knocked it out of the park. Beautiful upgrades create a serene, yet lively atmosphere because of the up-tempo music. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared and the wait staff was on point. A very impressive upgrade from the previous Japanese restaurant Hana. I highly recommend.

We had a great dining experience at Kuro Sushi. Food was great and so was the service. We really enjoyed the sushi and sashimi.

This restaurant was amazing! Great food and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be making this a regular spot.
