If you want fresh seafood this is the place! Best lobster we have had in FL. Lobster and other items are flown in from NE and being from NE, we know great seafood. Have never been disappointed in all our visits there. We have taken many other couples with us from time to time and everyone wants to go back.

I want to start by saying the guys in there are the nicest and, let’s be real, probably the best looking seafood experts in town. Now that we’ve established that, let’s talk about this warm lobster roll.

Absolutely unreal. Buttery, perfectly toasted bun, loaded with fresh, juicy lobster that made me question every other lobster roll I’ve ever had. It was so good I briefly considered moving to Maine until I remembered I can just keep coming here instead.

But let’s be honest, as incredible as the food is, the service is what makes this place next level. Friendly, welcoming, and you can tell they truly care about what they do. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. If you have been, well, you’re probably already planning your next visit.

10/10, would eat here every day if I could.

I want to say this is an awesome place, the best fresh seafood ever. Jim and his wife are absolutely wonderful to deal with. I had the Grouper sandwich, and it was awesome. I also purchased fresh grouper to take home. We will be back for more and highly recommend this place if you want the best seafood!

I poked my head into this establishment just to see if it was a market or a restaurant or both. Turns out, it’s not only both, but it’s also a place that holds customer service as its highest standard. The young man that served me (wish I could remember his name!) provided such a friendly, welcoming, and thorough experience with me and my son that I had to ask him if he owned the place. He replied that he didn’t but was very close with the owners. Could’ve fooled me…they would’ve been proud of how he handled their establishment. Food was very good and would definitely recommend this place if for nothing else than being treated like you’re appreciated for choosing them over anywhere else!

Not only that the lobster roll was absolutely delicious, whereas I felt like it was fresh out of New England, the owners and staff were so nice. I first ate a lobster in 1998 (I was in kindergarten then) and have been hooked to eating lobsters and anything with lobsters in it.
Today I stopped in right after going to nearby Orangetheory Fitness on the anniversary of a PTSD-inducing bad day I had in school during high school exactly 17 years earlier, for lobster roll as comfort food, and one of the owners made sure I felt consoled by the visit. I will definitely stop by again. I live several miles south but if I ever find myself on Route 70 I will definitely stop by again. I already knew that I don’t need a trip to New England for delicious lobster rolls as I knew there is a lobster roll restaurant in Naples. But it’s nice to discover there’s one here in Lakewood Ranch too. I am certainly going to message local Instagram accounts promoting local businesses, and hopefully they advertise Lobster Pound in Lakewood Ranch.

It's not the prettiest place when you walk in. The food is out of this world. It is not expensive at all for what they're serving. Really enjoyed our fried fish basket and our shrimp po'boy

Love these guys! Stopped in to get some Lobster Bisque Soup, Shrimp Egg Roll and Fried Pickles! All of it was delicious! I highly recommend!
