I got the lava smoothie bowl which is a mix of their two bases, one with acai, and both bases were sub par. I wanted to love this place based on the reviews and the owner(s) seem nice, but this smoothie bowl really ruined it for me. Probably the worst smoothie bowl I’ve ever had that I struggled to even eat half of it. The toppings are fine but weird combination overall, however the base of a smoothie bowl is what really makes or breaks it. Lacked both in taste and texture. I would not recommend.

I’ve had açaí bowls before but usually the person making my bowl is so busy they can’t take time to answer questions- but Lava Nutrition is different. They answered every question I had, let me sample the two I was debating between and made me exactly what I wanted for

This was my first time trying Lava Nutrition and I'm quite impressed. The prices were on average with similar places. The atmosphere was clean and quaint. The service was friendly and great. The drinks were very good and the acai bowl was delicious......I will definitely be back and add this to one of my favs.
