A cool southern spot for a meal in a place with a fun and interesting history and a very unique atmosphere. You pretty much have to experience it for yourself to see the decorations and understand the vibe.

Our waitress was fantastic and made us all laugh and made quick friends with our kids. The food and drinks were good, and it was fun to explore the space. I will definitely visit again with out of towners looking for a very Florida dining experience.

Their bloody mary specials on Sundays are great. Gator dishes are really good. Service can sometimes be a bit slow, but worth it!

Had the Platter, with Gator, Frog Legs, and catfish. It came with 2 sides. More than enough food for two people. Delicious, well prepared, fast, hot. And the Server was fantastic. It's great when someone loves to do their job, and loves the place they work, and it was pretty obvious. If you're anywhere near, stop for lunch or dinner!

What a nice lazy sunny afternoon dinner. We had the coconut shrimp which was perfectly crispy. In addition we had the 1/2 rack of ribs with greens and potatoesaugratinwhich wete cutelystacked but lacked any flavor. We also had the shrimp in garlic herb butter with greens and wasabi mashed potatoes which were much better when we mixed the wasabi into the mashed potatoes. All in all very good.

My husband and I visited after hearing this place was full of old Florida charm and good food. We sat outside and were greeted quickly by our server, who dropped off menus and said she’d be right back. We ordered drinks, then ordered a pulled pork sandwich and pork sliders. The server later returned with a menu for my husband and told him he needed to choose something else because they were out of pulled pork. She never mentioned that the sliders were also unavailable, which was confusing, and she never came back to clarify or adjust the second order. My husband’s replacement meal came out, but my food never arrived. He finished his entire meal before we saw the server again. When she finally returned, she said, “I don’t know how I missed that,” and asked me to order something else. By that point, my husband was done eating and the experience was already frustrating. The bill was comped, which we appreciated, but it was done with noticeable attitude, as if the situation were our fault. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed what we hoped would be a charming dining experience. We won’t be returning. Note to management: better communication and customer service training would go a long way. Experiences like this cost you repeat business.

There are not many places where you can experience the Old Florida charm like this place anymore. They are all being mowed down for strip malls , condos, or franchise restaurants. We all know what happened to Bob's Boat House. Greed rules and destroys. Anyway, the food is good and last time I was there they had some famous people singing karaoke. Not to mention the music festivals and such they have there.

how could anyone eat in a place that had murdered animals all over the walls. absolutely disgusting! people are so disconnected with what's important in the world. God awful!
