Loaded Cannon Distillery

We stopped by Loaded Cannon on a Friday right after they opened and had a great experience. We decided to do the tour, Steve the owner gave us the tour and you can tell he really loves what he does. He was funny and knowledgeable. We tried a bunch of different samples, some based off their recommendations and ended up leaving with 3 bottles. It would have been more if we didn't have to fly back home with them in our luggage. Definitely try the jalapeno vodka. It is fantastic.

The facility itself is in an industrial park, a little hidden if you don't know what you're looking for. Very clean inside and in the distilling floor. The bartender (I didn't catch her name) was friendly and helpful in making recommendations, suggesting some of their top sellers, and walking around with additional samples.

We will definitely be back, and are already talking about having family stop by to stock up for us before they come up north to visit.

Steve, the owner, led the tour himself. He blended humor, history, and interactive trivia in a way that kept everyone engaged. He is humble and kind and shared stories and told jokes. He was very authentic and transparent about everything.
He generously shared a sample during the tour as well as additional samples in the bar afterwards. The ginger vodka is insanely good! His knowledge of the science behind distilling was impressive. Even after going on many distillery tours, I still learned new and interesting things.
Truly one of the best distillery tours!

Overall great experience. The tour is conducted by the owner and it is easy to tell that he is passionate about his craft.

Great drinks and fun atmosphere!

Every single table was reserved for trivia which starts at 6. It was 5:15. Very disappointed we were asked to come back at a different time.

The #1 distillery in Florida located in a warehouse district in Bradenton. The place has a cool vibe and lots of activity here. The bourbons and vodka are exceptional. Steve the owner gives a really fun tour and is so knowledgeable about distilling spirits. With a tour you can select up to five tasting options. I’ve seen a food truck here on the weekends “Faith & Gracie’s” and menu is in the pics. The food is very good with tremendous portion sizes. They do cater. If you want to try your hand at distilling, Steve offers classes.

We drove down from the Orlando area on a whim for a distillery tour and tasting. It turned out to be well worth the 2 hour drive. The owner gave us a guided tour of the distillery that was possibly the most informative tour of any kind that I've ever been on. We learned a lot behind the chemistry that goes into alcohol production and found it fascinating. The tasting that followed was equally as impressive. The flavors were great and the drinks were surprisingly smooth. Definitely worth the visit as we are already planning a return trip.

Great local distillery! The best atmosphere for getting together with friends and meeting new ones!! You will also find a good choice of cocktails uniquely created by the skilled mixologists behind the bar. Stop by to hear local musicians playing at a fun Open Mic on Sundays.

Bourbon cool place

Amazing time doing the tour and tasting!! So worth the money. I did it with my husband and family. Steve was so kind and smart. I felt like I was given the best history/science class of my life compared to anything I’ve ever learned in school. It was really cool seeing how everything is made and what goes on behind the scenes of producing all types of liquor. I loved this tour and would absolutely do it again and bring by friends!! Will certainly plan on returning!!

The experience we had at this distillery was amazing! Steve and Alana were awesome. We did the distillery tour and tasting and found some great new liquors! We ended up taking home multiple bottles. We also tried the bloody mary, the spicy rita, and the pina colada-ish cocktail. They were all amazing! Definitely check this place out!

What a fun place! The owner Steve gave us the tour. He made it fun and interesting with his knowledge and a great sense of humor. The tastings were great and there was a big variety to choose from to create your flight. We would recommend Loaded Cannon for a laid back and enjoyable time. We'll be back!!
