Unfortunately, not the best Greek food I’ve had in my life. Menu is confusing, getting me to order a side of salad, even though it comes with a salad. The intention they say is so you can make your own sandwich. This was the pita platter. If I wanted a sandwich I would have ordered the pita sandwich. Not sure the owner thought through their menu options before going live. The Keftate (meatballs) were over cooked making it taste like Trader Joe’s frozen meatballs. While it has Greek tones and vibes this type of quality food would never be served in Greece. Disappointed this cost $17.

Great food, but super disappointed they took the Tuscan chicken sandwich off their menu recently. Otherwise would have been a 5.

Wow! This wasn’t where I planned on stopping for lunch, but sure glad I did! This place has fantastic food! I got the 7” gyro, excellent and a side of fries. I normally wouldn’t comment about fries but the seasoning was excellent and it was served with a sauce. I highly recommend this place. Staff was very friendly as well. A great first time experience.

When I was a child I went to the Pappas in Tarpon springs and remember their huge Greek salad. This place didn’t disappoint it’s just as I remember.

Ordered a very simple order from Uber eats. Spanakopita was placed on top of lettuce in the container for presentation I suppose. However a hot, flaky pastry sitting inside a closed container will steam inside, so the entire spinach pie was soggy, falling apart, with wet shredded lettuce sticking to the bottom. The falafel was bone dry like sand. I received a side of potato salad with no utensils as I asked for. Entire meal went in the trash.

Ate here for the first time last night. Had the Louie's Little Greek salad and Falafel appetizer. Everything was delicious, and good portions! Excited to return and try other items.

Unfortunately this place has gone down in quality and quantity. The pita platter portions have been cut in half. Literally in half. You get one pita split, with extra lettuce, onions, and tomato. I have frequented this restaurant often, but each time has gotten progressively worse. The tzatziki was watery, but at least they remembered to provide it this time and I received everything we ordered. I ordered Take Out, so no issues with service or atmosphere. However, I will not return for one of my once favorite places in the UTC area. I can’t believe the Costco gyro meal is significantly better, but it is.

I didn't even eat. Walked in waited and had to greet the person behind the counter looking at their phone. Didn't look super clean. Food posing sucks and didn't want to roll the dice. Just a bad look.
Louis M. Pappamichalopoulos, from Sparta, Greece arrived in America in 1904. He shortened his name to Pappas to help simplify life in his new country. During World War I, Louis served in France as an army chef in General Pershing’s “Wildcat Division”. It was there that he created his own version of a Greek salad by adding potato salad to sustain the troops during hard times. In 1925 Louis and his wife, Flora, affectionately known as “Mama”, established the original Louis Pappas “Riverside Café” in Tarpon Springs. With a handful of employees on sawdust floors, they opened their humble café, specializing in fine Greek-American cuisine and the Louis Pappas Famous Greek Salad™. Potato salad at the bottom of a Greek salad soon became commonplace and the salad itself became internationally known. The Pappas Family prospered over the years, sustaining three generations in the restaurant business.
