We spent $30 a plate and we both left hungry. I had the beef stroganoff which was good. However, I was expecting a little more from the potatoes. I lived a year in Germany so I was a little disappointed.Dietary restrictions: They did have gluten free options.

Small cozy restaurant, tucked away ( almost hidden) in the corner of Bradenton Commons strip plaza anchored with a Publix off Cortez.A chef couple owned and operated with super friendly service. Although the menu has a wide selection, I have repeatedly enjoyed all their versions of schnitzel.Great place to eat.

I have been a fan of German foods since I had schnitzels in Vienna, Austria last summer and while I live in Sarasota (east of 75) meaning this restaurant is a bit far for me, I was fortunate to recently eat here after finding this restaurant on Instagram. I was attending a St. Stephens girls lacrosse game and after the game I decided to drive a couple miles south to eat here. While it was busy when I stopped by, the staff was the absolute best and especially Mrs. Kaufer were accommodating.

I had a great experience visiting the Lucky Frog for the first time. The food was very authentic German/Bavarian.I went for lunch with my family. I had the Jägerschuss (Hunter's Shot), while my family had the potato pancakes, and the bread pork schnitzel with German potato salad. Plus a freshly baked pretzel. In my opinion it was a little on the pricey side, especially for lunch, but it was well worth it for the authenticity of the food.I will definitely be back.

Yummy and AUTHENTIC food, super fun atmosphere and great service. I am local so, I am lucky enough to go all the time. Thank you staff and owners. The rest of you go eat!

OMG. My German friend and I had a pork shank dinner with dumpling, and sauerkraut. We ordered extra sauerkraut and red cabbage (all made by the owner & chef). That was the best sauerkraut & red cabbage I have ever had. My friend said it was just like his mom's. The beer was cold, dark and delicious from Germany. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

This is a very authentic German restaurant with a very committed chef and staff. I enjoyed two courses and a few glasses of house pinot. I sat at the bar and immediately got greeted and delivered a complimentary bowl of fresh, flash fried potato skins lightly salted. For my first course I had a very well presented tomatoe bruschetta with freshly toasted bread chips...perfect. Main course, horseradish schnitzel with a German potatoe salad and thinly sliced cucumbers. I took four desserts to go all made from scratch. I delivered the desserts to my employees. Karen was my server she was very informative and had great knowledge of the menu and specials. I believe the owner even stopped over to say hello. This place is very hidden. The decor is very eclectic. If you want to try something new and not get disappointed give this restaurant a try. I had a great experience.

All I want to say is WOW the food is DELICIOUS and I'm not just saying that ! It was very well seasoned(unlike alot of the german food at other restaurants that tend to be pretty bland and tasteless), the salad dressing was delicious, and the steak I got was cooked to perfection. If you're looking for high quality German food this is your place.

Had lunch with a friend and it ended up being over $100 for two meals, a beer and a soda…. I could’ve paid that at long horn and got better quality food. Egg noodles and something else that seemed like it was boiled. Prices are ridiculous. Went there once and never again. Place is always empty. Sauerkraut out the jar ? ? yeah aunthentic okay !!!!! Great service, cool atmosphere.
