Hands down the best honey chicken I have ever had. I don't live in Bradenton anymore and I make sure I go by and get a couple of boxes every time I'm in town to see my parents and take back home. I live in Tampa now and have yet to find anything that can even come close. I can't speak to many other items on the menu cause honey chicken is my go to. I have had their egg rolls and shrimp fried rice and they are both very good. Not " blow you out the water" good but definitely on par with other Chinese food places. If your a honey chicken fan (even if your not) Lucky Star is the place to go.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. I paid almost $80. I got a pupu platter, human shrimp, small sweet n sour chicken and Gen Tsos. Dont know how it was that much, but the food was slimy. It had a horrible taste as if it were old food. Very unhappy with this as it was our 1st time since moving to this area and were looking for our new Chinese food place. I will never order again.

Ordered orange chicken and general taos chicken. The food didn't taste like what I ordered and made me nauseated. Not ordering from here again

Food was delicious and the portions were large. Both the lady and gentleman were friendly and she went through my order with me before I left the store to make sure I had everything. Will return.

General's Chicken is wonderful. If you check out Lucky Star I would say this is one of their signature dishes. Highly reccommended.

Wontons was over cooked with no filling. Rice was okay but that was the only thing good with the food. Never go back here again

If I could give negative stars I would. This food was absolutely horrible. Almost $40 on lunch for 3 of us. We didn't eat it. I should have listened to the reviews. The rice was either old and microwaved or instant and microwaved. The krab Rangoon was old and yellow. The fried wantons were nonexistent. It was overfried/burnt wanton shell with nothing inside. We'll never order from here again and I recommend you don't either. The girl that checked us out was friendly enough. The food however was a negative 10 stars Pictures to show....

Horrible! The place smells like mold and sewage water. Only two old Asians work there with bad hearing so they never know when I'm there trying to get their attention. For that reason I called from my car to ask them if my order was ready and got screamed at for calling. I explained to her I was in there ringing the bell saying hello and they didn't hear me so I called and she still continued yelling. I was picking up food for someone and I informed them of how nasty the place is and told them to order from somewhere else. Totally unprofessional. Customers and delivery drivers shouldn't be the target of misguided anger.

Where do I start. The woman taking orders bordered on rude, we asked for chopsticks and didn't get any, the fried dumplings were completely flat and the filling falling out, The sweet and sour chicken was so overcooked it was impossible to bite, the general tso's chicken tasted awful, the fried rice looked burned, and the lo mein was slimey. $60 spent and all of the food was returned. The dining room was empty when we went, and the bathrooms had a sign that said out of order, but didn't look that way. There is a Thai place in the same plaza that is much much better. Update: Forgot the awfulness of this location, called and asked if this was the place next to Publix on cortez and was rudely told no and hung up on. How they are in business is beyond me.

A lady said this is the Best Sushi restaurant in Bradenton possibly Manatee Co It isn't overpriced service is excellent the quality of the food was excellent it's not an all you can eat buffet so you won't get sick after eating there. more impressive is the incredible freshness of fish for a strip wall eatery in Bradenton. After living there 7 yrs I know maybe ten restaurants I ate at and didn't throw up. When I want Sushi I drive 15 miles to Lucky Star a little NYC in a strip wall a secret no longer.

I was surprised that they have dim sum at this restaurant. It is made to order and the dim sum menu is limited, however it is tasty and refreshing for this area. I recommend the gai-lan (Chinese broccoli) with oyster sauce, the jian-dui (sesame balls) and the beef chow fun. They also have roast duck, Char Shew Bow, and an assortment of other dim sum delights. The husband and wife team are very friendly. I found them welcoming and enjoyable. Although this is a small restaurant has a casual atmosphere, I give them a four star rating due to the dim sum. The vast majority of other Chinese restaurants in this area do not have dim sum. For those that are gluten free, you will have to be careful as a lot of dim sum contains wheat. However, there still are yummy options at this establishment!

The place is okay nothing spectacular. Pretty much the same as most Chinese restaurants. Food could have used a little more seasoning and a little more spice . But other than that it was nice

urgent care

Three different items ordered and all items didn't even look presentable to eat, let alone safe to consume.(Grease poured out of eggrolls, chicken was either under cooked or chewing plastic consistency. Pork fried rice looked as if insects hibernated in the grains prior to serving.) I have a nurse vomiting profusely after attempting to eat the fried rice she ordered. After calling and politely requesting for a reimbursement, after being lied to that there wasn't a supervisor in the building that I could talk to, I was hung up on. Ironically enough, the women I was talking to was the owner, who requested that I bring back the food( not exactly sure why...to serve someone else possibly?!) in order to get my money back. Needless to say, this establishment will not only have to communicate with the business bureau, but this establishment will also be reported to the health department for probable culinary health code violations. Any and all third party delivery services who advertise this restaurant should be mindful of such a place that is serving inadequate and repulsive items they call food. --------- Less than ONE STAR most definitely.
