My husband and I ate breakfast at the Metro Diner today. Never heard of it before, so totally new experience. Very clean, quick service, friendly but efficient waitress, and excellent food! I like a Western omelet for breakfast out, but theirs was different! It had the usual egg, ham, onion, cheese, & green pepper---but there were mushrooms, which I usually have to request and pay extra to get! And firm, ripe tomatoes! Not slivers, but chunks of ham! The veggies were lightly cooked, so the omelet was quite large & flavorful! My husband had the Meat Lover's Breakfast Bowl: eggs, chunks of ham, sausage, & bacon over hash browns. He enjoyed it, too! We will go back again!

Only one waitress made ordering longer than should have been. Food is good. What youbwould expect from the Metro Diner chain. Hostess and other staff could have picked up the slack. Seemed at times only the cook was working.
