Ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with a side of Mac & cheese. While the Mac & cheese was good, there was so much salt in the brisket sauce I felt like a cow lacking a salt lick out in the field. Can't imagine a chf needing to add that much salt to the sauce intentionally so maybe somebody thought they were adding salt. Seriously, I filled a water glass three times during my meal in an attempt to offset the impending sodium shock.

Our favorite BBQ place in the area. It gets busy at lunch time so be prepared to wait a few minutes. Their French Fries are amazing, sometimes I just get them and a side dish. Their BBQ meats are great, our favorites are pulled pork, chicken and their brisket. Favorite side dish is their collard greens. Family friendly with indoor and outdoor seating.

My bestie and I ate here for my birthday and Kim Laila, and Angie really made our whole experience. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so kindly in a restaurant before. Laila was so helpful explaining the menu to my friend who never been, and was extra accommodating and attentive with our order! Angie was a doll making sure we had everything we needed once we got our food. And dearest Kim was such a friend to us, we’re from out of town and she was willing to give us all the juicy details on the community of Bradenton giving us pointers for when we prepare to come back! Over all such a positive experience I recommend mission bbq to anyone and everyone. We have a location up north and they’re also the nicest people ever. The company clearly cares deeply and it shows. Also helps the food is DELICIOUS.

We went to the one on University Parkway . But I guess there the same , if so , very good bbq pork . The mac & cheese side was the best ever . However, the cornbread had a funny taste , kind like they left corn hisk on it before grinding flour . 6 differant sauces . I guess it is a personal thing . But one had alot of cumin was bad IMHO . They were all kina hot . Still good . And at noon you sing star spangeled banner
