Food is delicious, authentic Italian served up big. Sandwiches are massive. You can choose from display cases, sandwich bar, or menu. Prices are decent. Service was so-so, and my preference would be to add checked tablecloths, less harsh lighting etc. to warm up the ambiance. But generally, a great choice for lunch or dinner.

Enjoy the ambiance and food. It’s always better as dine in vs to go. Occasionally mess up my orders so have to check before I leave. The food is usually very good and the portions are fair to the price. Always enjoy the lasagna and cannolis.

The subs are out of this world. Of late I have been working my way through the subs just fabulous. Next week I am going to try the meatballs/sausage and peppers. I will advise. The man behind the sub counter is the typical Brooklyn Italian, big smile, a real people person. He makes you want to come back, he makes you feel like he has known you his entire life. Everyone that works there makes you feel like you are home.

Really not a restaurant, more of a deli, sandwiches made to order, pizza place. There are a half dozen tables stuck in the middle.

We went there for their Valentines special meal for 2, that came with an appetizer, salad, and choice of 3 entrees. Basically we waited 50 minutes and our entree came to the table. We had not been given our appetizer or our salads. When we mentioned this, the manager said our meal would be free. Still no salad or appetizer. My husband's mussels were hard and dry. Not edible. His clams were all closed. The waiter came by and did a thumbs-up. My husband said no. It is not good. The manager came back.He says, "You have no idea how hard it is to run a restaurant." (No one said, I'm sorry. Or how can we fix this.) We got up and left. Never done that before. Not the Valentines dinner we were going for.

I’ll keep this short but unfortunately not sweet. Ordered a cup of soup and the waitress returned with a huge bowl, “ compliments of the chef”, Red flag #1. Should have trusted my instincts and sent it back. Changed my original order to a Caesar salad which was soggy, Red flag #2. Ordered a beer and it came with lipstick all over the rim, Red flag #3, sent that back. By the time I returned home the rumbling began, spent the night on the throne. Trust your instincts or, like me, learn while you burn. BTW, they charged me for the bowl!

Went to Morrones with high anticipation on Valentines Day. Service was the worst that I have ever had. The waiter took 20 minutes to take the order and then completed skipped serving the appetizer and salad. The manager comp'd the meal but ruined the night for my wife and me. Really need new staff.

I split time beteeen NY and Bradenton…Marrone’s is the best of both worlds. I always stop in to resupply cheeses and cold cuts. This time I also grabbed eggplant rolitini to go. Warned it in the oven just now and it’s fabulous. Why bother making a mess in your kitchen? The breads, pizzas and pastries look legit and I’ll be sampling soon. Great addition to the local scene and authentic as hell!

Very good thin crust pizza with chicken. From the slic case, pepperoni roll was cheesy and crisp. Good service and good value.

Such a friendly reminder of my youth. The food brought back memories of a favorite childhood restaurant my sister and I would visit in our neighborhood. The food was delicious and lots of it. We will be taking some home.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.
