My stepfather used to go to this restaurant a lot before he died. He said it was the best Chinese restaurant in town and he would have known - he ate at them all. I hadn't been there in years but was in the neighborhood and hungry, so I called in my order. I got the General Tso's Chicken and some Hot and Sour Soup. My main complaint is that the Fried Rice was not fried. This is a fairly common problem in Chinese restaurants. I can tell the difference. The chicken was very chewy and stringy.. The flavor was good and the broccoli was good.

The food here is off the charts! They have the best egg rolls out there and the house fried rice is fantastic! This isn't your typical Chinese food you will be on cloud 9!

Stopped in to sit down for lunch after looking at reviews, Nam Fong was delicious!! Egg rolls are the best I've ever had, lightly battered.Hot and sour soup was also very good and Singapore noodles did not disappoint. The only thing I didn't like is that they serve your food in "to go" containers.Very friendly & attentive!!!

Food was bland no flavorBroth clear like cloudy water shrimp small use to be large, no hunks of chicken just some shredded something. Lady answer phone said they were to busy. To bring a replacement bowl . I’ve order from here at least 5?times spending hundred of dollars .Ruined my valentines lunch . Very disappointing .

Very disappointed - we specifically chose Nam Fong based on a friend's recommendation as a place to celebrate the Lunar New Year that starts today. The woman running the place said they only do takeout on Saturday. Empty restaurant except for two other people who had also been turned away. She seemed utterly unconcerned about losing the business of the only customers in the house on this holiday. We went to Hong BBQ & Hot Pot down the street and had a wonderful dinner...
I used to really love their food until the owners sold to the new owners now for some reason I think they change their chicken because it seems a lot more slimier Don't get me wrong I still like it Just not crazy about the chicken and I usually get moo goo guy pan which has chicken in it So now I'm not sure what I should order from there because that's my favorite
Everything i've eaten here has been so very good! The service is super friendly and very fast! Definitely my go to place for Chinese food in Bradenton!!
