The food was decent, but our peanut curry had the wrong protein (chicken instead of shrimp) and absolutely no curry - only vegetables and the wrong meat. The other stuff was good and we would give it a shot again, given the proximity - the prices are very high for the portion sizes as well and, as should always be the case, check your order for accuracy. Restaurant was also empty on a Saturday but it is a golf club so not much golf traffic expected this late.

We had the duck risotto and pad kee mow, both were outstanding and reminded us of the quality we used to get on the pacific rim. Beautiful atmosphere and great service. This is a must visit.

I am looking forward to this being a good meal based on the 4.8 star reviews. I live on the Tara Preserve golf course and give any business credit for making a 4.8 rating here. After dining I have to say the service was top notch and the food, I had Curry Peanut was the best. Husband had the Pad thai, he loved it!
We will come back.

We foolishly tried this place for the third time last night, hoping for improvement. My wife and I had the ginger and garlic preparation with shrimp, an under-portioned and uninspired dish that left us disappointed and hungry. Our friends had equally unfortunate dishes that were dry and obviously reheated.
The service was ludicrously slow and distant. An hour after we ordered, the server finally dropped dishes off in increments, too far apart, and never stopped back to check on us.
The parking lot after sunset is actually dangerous. Grossly inadequate lighting and uneven steps and terrain left us stumbling around in the dark trying to find our cars.
Three and out for us. It's a lovely room and so close to our home, but we won't be back.

Second time here. With only a few people in the restaurant, on a weekend night, you would think the service would be better. Waited 45 mins. Average sushi. My dining partner food was lukewarm, not much flavor. The couple next to us, disappointed with a fatty meat and hidden burnt side. Sent it back and they said not returning. What a great opportunity too excel in this location but need to step up on portion size and getting food out before it cools. Not sure if I'm coming back.

Napar was recommended by friends and we are estatic we tried this new hidden gem. Food was superb, authentic and fresh. Service was top notch and friendly. Atmosphere is beautiful inside and outside. This will be our go-to restaurant for authentic Tai and sushi. They also have some traditional american offerings, especially during the day. Thank you for being there, Napar!

Good Asian food is hard to find around Lakewood Ranch, but NapaR at the TARA public golf course is a hidden gem. They took over what I suspect was a money-losing food and beverage operation and have been operating for about four months. Based on a friend's recommendation, we tried it for lunch, and it was fantastic! The Tai Chilli Chicken Wings and Number 3 Bento Box were both excellent, and we'll definitely be returning soon.

We stumbled upon Napar while looking for a mew to us Thai or Asian restaurant to eat while daughter was home for break from college.
The location is a little unconventional for your typical Thai restaurant since it’s located in the Tara Preserve golf clubhouse. However, the setting was nice and clean.
The service and food were both Great and we will return repeatedly. Our server was very attentive and pleasant, but not overly attentive. The chef came out front as we were leaving and was also friendly.
All of the food we had was GREAT! This included the Tom Kha soup, the Pad Kee-Mao stir fry noodles and the Black Truffle Duck Risotto, along with a couple bottles of Sake. 😋
They had some variety on the menus too, some unique items, to accommodate the Tara golfers and they have a separate golf/lunch menu as well, noted in the pictures. They also had several traditional sushi items, as well as cooked sushi items.
You should give the place a try and spread the word!

This elegant little Thai restaurant tucked away inside Tara Preserve, is the best kept secret in Manatee County. Exquisite dishes prepared and served up by friendly folks who are very attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet place to dine.

My husband and I had dinner this past weekend. The food was wonderful. I had pad Thai and my husband bad chicken basil. Our server Siri was seriously such a delight. We can’t wait to go back and try the sushi.
The atmosphere is so relaxing and the restaurant is decorated beautifully. It is new so I’m hoping everyone will go give them a try.

Boutique vibe with great vistas, attentive service ... but mediocre food. You're paying for exclusivity. Ideal for quiet dates.
