Excellent service, not only by the owner, but also by the children. Food was excellent. We had spare ribs that were better than any we’ve ever had in NH. Beef teriyaki was tender and easy to eat. Would recommend and will return here.

New Garden has a great staff, skilled cooks, and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy your dish. Never had a bad meal and will continue giving them my business. The Dragon and Phoenix is delicious if you can handle a little bit of spice, but they also do a great Cashew Nut Chicken.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The quality and taste of this food is bad. The beef lo mein has no flavor no sauce and the beef is more fatty pieces than meat. Rice bland and no flavor. The sesame chicken fatty pieces no meat and again no flavor. Absolutely a waste of your money do not order from here. Also the manager when I called to let them know it was awful would not do anything for me. In fact seemed bothered and didn’t seem to care or help find a resolution. I am not exaggerating DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I've ordered takeout here several times and sometimes it's pretty OK but sometimes it's terrible including the last time. I ordered the Singapore style noodles and it was totally bland like it hadn't been seasoned/cooked properly. I've had dish this from them before and it's tasted good so it's very disappointing when I order it again and it tastes this bad. I'm not sure if sometimes they let someone who can't really cook have a go, or they just don't care at all but with this large of a variance in quality I won't order there again. Spend your money at a business that can consistently cook properly and serve tasty food.
I have been coming to New Garden for years and never had any issues with the service or the food. Everything my family and I ordered was always really fresh and good... that was until my last recent visit. I ordered the Vegetable Chow Mein and when I got it home, I was disgusted at what I saw. First, there were no noodles in it, and second, it looked like white snot! I thought maybe they inadvertently placed the wrong dish in my bag. I returned to explain I possibly received someone else's order and the young man behind the counter (extremely rude) opened the bag and said... no, this is the Chow Mein. I asked where the noodles in the dish were and he replied, this dish doesn't have noodles. I thought he was kidding, so I laughed and said yes, Chow main does have stir fried noodles. He proceeded to tell me that they prepare Chow main English style (apparently no noodle) and what I was referring to is a Chinese dish (mind you I was in chinese restaurant). I was in utter shock that I was even having this discussion with this young man in a CHINESE restaurant. He asked me if I wanted something else and I replied, I would, but I don't feel I should have to pay for it. He proceeded to the kitchen and had a full on screaming match with a lady and then came out and said, sorry, nothing we can do. Not only did I receive what I consider to be the wrong food, but the blatant lies to defend what they tried to give me was absolutely unbelievable. Needless to say, we won't be returning to this restaurant ever again. What a true shame! My understanding is the children have taken over the restaurant and this is how they have decided to run it

First experience. Decided to try it based on Yelp reviews. Nice to find a Chinese restaurant with a dine-in option. We ordered a wonton soup and the General Tsao chicken. Dillon , our wait staff was friendly, attentive and prompt. We recommend giving them a try.

what a terriable place ordering from my work and send friend to pick up and the lady will not give food because she didnt have the # i called it in from. while the food was right there in front of her telling the women what she ordered and lady said unless you have # no food. can you believe how rude this lady was and this is not the first time we have ordered and treated badly. this review is going viral and to herald tribune and will not stop till this place is closed or new onwership happens. do not go to this resturant, dont give them any of your orders and as a public facility this resturant needs to be closed up.

I ordered takeout. The food was prepared quickly (15 min). Portions were a generous size. The Crab Rangoon was good, sweet sauce was good, egg drop soup was good, and the broccoli and shrimp was good (broccoli was cooked well, not overdone). The shrimp were large. However there were only 4 shrimp and there was too much brown sauce on the broccoli and shrimp. Also the pork fried rice was too salty; particularly the pork pieces were very salty. The rice had an odd flavor that did not appeal to me. After a few bites I decided not to eat any more of the pork fried rice.
