Ortygia is a charming Italian restaurant that offers a unique and authentic dining experience. The menu, which changes weekly, features a limited selection of creative Sicilian dishes prepared with care and attention to detail by the passionate chef-owner. The staff is great and the owner/chef is so very personable, mingling with the diners. This little restaurant in the art district is so quaint. Ortygia's was perfect, the food was absolutely delicious. If you want real Italian food this is the place to go. The food and service are amazing. The chef mingles with the diners. A refreshing and amazing experience. The restaurant is cozy and the staff is great. They had Babbalucci con Carciofi, Veal Francese con Carciofi, and a wonderful blueberry bread pudding with white chocolate. Everything looked and smelled amazing. Planning the next visit is easy. This is a great place for a romantic evening, a small group, or dining by yourself. Ortygia is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking a memorable and delicious Italian meal.
