Sarasota and Manatee have a serious lack of small venues for local and traveling bands, artists, etc. I am so thrilled to have Oscura exists. They constantly have great shows and events, including those for local residents to perform with open mics and poetry reading. Also, the drink menu is carefully and thoughtfully curated. The coffee is fantastic. The cocktails are fun and delicious. The non-alcoholic options are more extensive than anywhere I’ve been in our area. I absolutely love checking out shows here. In my hometown up north, there was a local or traveling bands playing original music somewhere nearly every night of the week and I’m from a town of 100k. Oscura brings me back to those days and the vibes are immaculate.

Oscura is a one of a kind treasure. There aren't any places like it in Bradenton or Sarasota. Between the coffee, cocktails, music shows, Friendly City Flea markets, and more, they hold a special spot in the heart of Bradenton. The owners and employees are some of the kindest in town and the customer service is always top notch. The entire place is always clean, it's decorated well and feels cozy, and has plenty of space. I come here to work all the time during the day, and come to have fun at night at the various events they host.

Literally the best coffee in B tucky. I love going for matcha or coffee! Also, it's such a fun and chill vibe. I work there in the morning a lot when I want to get out of the house. The space is open and music isn't too loud while you work. Also speaking of, the playlist at this place SLAPS.WE LOVE A VERSATILE QUEEENOscura also turns into a great cocktail lounge and art(music, standup comedy, fashion, etc.) venue. Whether you want a chill vibe around happy hour or more action after 7 at their events. It has everything one could want in a small town. :)

Great little place for events and hide away. Was impressed with the organic menu and quality ingredients on the food menu.The staff seemed very knowledgeable. I even learned of a new vodka that is organic and filtered 7 times!It's definitely a place to check it if you need to host a business event.

My brother and I wanted to start trying new restaurants to recommend to our usual group of foodies. This small cafe was first on our list, and we were not disappointed. We arrived around 12 and had the opportunity to try their lunch menu, I ordered a Cuban sandwich and lavender specialty lemonade while my brother tried the chicken salad sandwich and a strawberry Mango craft iced tea. The food and drinks were stellar, complimented by the calm and quiet atmosphere and quality service, with a wonderful attitude by both servers present who were more than happy to discuss the drinks they had available on the menu. Prices were fair for the quantity as both our plates were served with potato chips, and to end our dining experience, we ordered some drinks to go, a Chai latte, and a regular latte and the server was kind enough to customize ours a bit and make our drinks more on the sweeter side and both were so fantastic we nearly forgot our earlier dining experience. I definitely recommend this place for a nice and quiet lunch. Now to some caveats...Breakfast ends at 11, and without serving it alongside lunch, the menu appears rather limited in terms of food and may not offer something for everyone. I intend to return during breakfast and perhaps dinner if it is available. Dinner may be noiser as the location offers music and trivia events, but that may be to some people's liking.Overall, this was a wonderful surprise and a wonderful start to our restaurant exploration adventure.
