Papa Johns Pizza

I am here to commend general manager Jacob at the Lakewood ranch shop. I was a very frustrated and mad customer because I spent a substantial amount of money on food and tip for the driver...over $110.00.. the driver showed up minus a pizza...I called and the lady called out what I ordered and knew that my box was still there...she then says he just pulled up and can bring it back to you. I love 5 min away..I was going to be cool...well 5 min turned into 20 and I called back and said my food is now cold...I would like my refund.. there was some frustration in the call and then I was directed to Jacob... Jacob caught the 2nd half of the wrath after I had already called 30 min ago.. long story..I went up there returned the food...Jacob realized I paid a lot and tipped...he returned my money and redid my order...you can say it's a win on both sides..but in reality PAPAJOHN just kept my business because of Jacob...we eat there often so my refund doesn't amount to what I will be spending in the future with them.... thank you Jacob...my apologies for being a little irate!

The older lady at the front was extremely rude, not only to me but to her coworkers. She was screaming at everyone and banging stuff around while everyone just looked at her. No one should have to work in that environment. It’s not healthy and very stressful!!!

Thank you very much to everyone working here the day after Milton! The staff were incredibly helpful and strong during the rush of people looking for food, when almost everything was closed. The line was out the door and people were crowding the outside, I had never seen anything like it. Because of that, I was expecting to be waiting around 2 hours, but I only ended up waiting EXACTLY 30 minutes. I have nothing but respect for the people working that shift. They were extremely organized and well spoken. The employees made sure everyone was seen to and mitigated the crowd inside and outside. Not a single issue at all. Thank you so much for opening even when it was tough. We had no food at all and we were about out of hope. The food was probably the best I’ve ever eaten from a papa john’s, I’m not exaggerating. It’s definitely worth it to come here, they make sure all your needs are heard and met. I appreciate you guys!

We used to order from Pappa Johns on Cortez Road in Bradenton, so after moving to Parrish we decided to try Pappa John's on Lakewood Ranch Blvd. We ordered a large, hand tossed, veggie pizza, it was absolutely delicious, so we ordered again the following week, and it was fantastic once again. This store uses top quality ingredients and the staff is polite and friendly. It is difficult to get top quality pizza here in FL, so we were pleasantly surprised to find this great pizza restaurant right in our own backyard. Ask for the hand tossed pizza, I guarantee you will want to return again and again. Dr. Coyle, Parrish, FL

Staff is always nice, order is right 9/10 times.

The calzone stuffed crust was very good. The service was also very good. If you want the sauce to pop, add Roma tomatoes as a topping.

Change the staff, they seem miserable. Almost useless to write a review, as the owner of this location doesn't care to respond to negative experiences.

This is the second time we’ve had this issue. We haven’t returned for a couple years because the value was so poor last time. This time just as bad. Minimal toppings, no sauce in the middle at all, and cheese scrimped around the edge. They must be saving some serious money doing this on hundreds of pizzas a day, imagine how much better the margins are?!We won’t be back to this location. Jacob and the rest of his crew are awesome, and I greatly appreciate their professional attitudes and respect for each other and also to me. I placed a carry out, My order was a bit specific, and they aced it perfectly. I will surely return and have recommended this Papa Johns to all my family & friends.

Placed an order in advance. When I got to the store, it wasn’t ready. No explanations as to why. Not even a sorry. Horrible customer service.
