A regular of mine at work highly recommended Pesto and even so nicely brought me a gift certificate for my family and I to check this place out. WOW. I was so impressed. Courtney our server is doing a little bit of everything, and making it look like it’s bread and butter. Speaking of bread.. the bread & pesto.. I couldn’t put it down. We all had amazing authentic meals and all said ‘you can tell this was true Italian sauces and food’. I will highly recommend this...
We tried Pesto Bistro for the first time last night. It is tucked away on Cortez Road and doesn’t look like much as you drive past.
We were welcomed and seated in a quiet cozy dining room with white tablecloths and quiet background music. It was perfect.
The veal dishes were delicious …truly succulent and cooked to perfection. The wine was lovely too.
We enjoyed the quiet ambiance…no loud voices from other diners…just a subdued hub of voices...

I hesitate to leave this review because I want to keep this place all to myself. If you visit Bradenton or Anna Maria Island and are tired of the tourist trap seafood places, want a break from the burgers and fish tacos, or just want a wonderful Italian meal with a great selection of wines. Come here. Courtney was very attentive and helpful with food and wine choices. She never let you dry up or go hungry. Not that you would look up from the delicious food. Well Done. Meatballs...
