Sad to see this store closed down but luckily there is even a better one not even a mile down the road on honore and fruitville. Very friendly, fast and clean during my visits there.
We ordered falalel and hummus in a pita. I was surprised they weren't dropped fresh into hot oil, but went with it. They were delicious if a little soft. We enjoyed them. We wanted potato salad but they'd run out. The person working was very nice and it was clean. We'd return and recommend.
The food was great, and the place was very clean, as if it was recently built. I ordered a chicken pita with island curry. The pita was really good. Definitely recommend it. Another person in my party ordered the kids korner cheese pizza, and said that it seemed like the bread and the cheese were meant for each other. Another dish that we tried was the spinach pie platter. The spinach pies tasted great, as did the accompanying sauce. We had double Greek salad instead of potato...
