We are always pleased with our visits here. The staff is always friendly and attentive and the food never disappoints. Today we got the street corn... wonderful! Always get the chips! Make sure to tip, the team is awesome.
The quality of the food has changed , The burrito that I ordered literally fell apart the chicken was different than it used to be and was dry the pinto beans were hard undercooked and why do they have Feta cheese ???? weird ..... I would not go back to this American style so called Mex food If you want the best burrito in town go to Tamiami Tacos
Wow! Best Bowl I have ever had! Chicken was incredible, all the toppings fresh and tasty! We loved the guacamole and the chips (fresh out of the fryer) were wonderful! Great the next day too! Staff was friendly and helpful! Absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back!
I had never eaten at this place until today. I was at a training session and during the lunch break my friend said they were going to Poppo’sTaqueria. Having never eaten there I figured why not go join them. I am very happy that I did. The restaurant is very clean up-to-date new and serves lots of different food options relating to Mexican gluten-free, etc. Very similar to chipotle restaurant as to how one is served and for just under $25 I had a wonderful large bowl with the rice, spicy steak and all the toppings with chips and a free drink. This will definitely not be my last time at one of these many restaurants. I’m very glad I had the ability to come here and have a good experience.
I ordered online for 5 people - someone at work loves this place. I arrived on time, brought back to office (8 min ride). EVERY item felt like it had been stored in the refrigerator. Not luke warm, not cool, COLD. And they missed 3 of the items we ordered. I won't go back.
This was our choice on a bus trip stop as it seemed the most healthy choice for a quick meal. They were out of beef but that was fine. I loved all the ordering options and variety. I also loved the mango green tea
Meat was gross. No sauces. No hot sauce bar. Chips sucks. Salsa sucks.
Hannah and crew are amazing, efficient, patient, and friendly. I come in every Monday for my coworker and I it's always a pleasure to be there. This is a great location. The manager is also a great guy! Highly recommend!
After reading all the reviews I had to check this spot out. While it was good I do not agree it is any better than chipotle. The Carne Asada had the perfect amount of spice/heat. Beer cooler should be colder. $21 for a burrito and beer is a boy steep.
One of my favorite restaurants to hit when in Bradenton is Poppos! Love this place. I just love the honey lime cabbage and pickled onions they use as condiments for their meals. So good! We are staying in Bradenton for 4 days and we'll visit Poppo's at least twice. Imagine Chipotle's on adrenaline surge...that's how good this place is! It might cost a tad more than your typical Q'doba but it's so worth it.

There are no prices on the menu above where they make the food. There is a small paper menu below. While we enjoy the food, but Classic Burrito with no extras was $12.25!! Way overpriced for a burrito! I believe it used to be around $8 the last time we came in.
Poppo's is like a healthier version if Chipotle with higher-quality ingredients. Been going to the other location for 4 years, and occasionally this one. I was surprised how good the Purple Cabbage is on the Rice Bowls!
This was really great I would give 6 stars but you can't as five is the maximum anyway the vegetarian taco thing was real good and the tortillas are made right in front of you, then you can sit out front and eat them in the sun and point and admire the faux hipster ducks playing nose saxophones. Oh, funny story: i accidentally took a soda instead of the free water and I offered to pay for it but the guy behind the counter said "nah its ok". They are really likeable people. Keep on, Chet x
Better than Chipotle but pricey. Healthy options, vegetarian friendy. Nice options for Kambucha (not locally made).
Good food and very welcoming. 3 visits so far on a two week trip, one more to try the Bowls. Burrito and tacos very good and they have high chairs which is great for relaxed family meal time.
