What a gem of a place! Enjoyed a great cocktail at the bar before being seated. Friendly service and our meal was OUTSTANDING! Highly recommend the sticky ribs for an appetizer, and the duck parpardelle was fabulous! In a world of LOUD, we love that this place is fairly quiet. We could actually hear each other! Thanks for great service, Maura!

My husband's grouper was not good had a real bad smell. They brought him another order of it and same thing. The server and manger were very understanding. We didn't have to pay for it. Gave him some desert to go and comped my wine since I was basically eating on my own. The ambience is nice there. It was our first time maybe we will give it a try again down the road. It's a shame we were really looking forward to trying a new place.

Excellent food and service, which is always consistently good here. Enjoyed the outdoor seating on a nice night. Live music on a Saturday night was a nice bonus.

Food quality was excellent. Service was as well (Chris). It would be a place to visit again.

A nice dinner for three of us. We had one cocktail, one glass of white, two French Onion soups, and three entrees for $155. I guess that's OK for ritzy Sarasota. Service was excellent on the patio. Three piece string musical group outside was a nice surprise. We will be back.

We celebrated an early birthday dinner — just the two of us — and enjoyed a lovely evening overall. Our server, Chris, was exceptional: knowledgeable about the menu, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. The ceviche was outstanding, and the skinless salmon was absolute perfection — especially without the beurre blanc sauce. Its accompaniments (crab potatoes and asparagus) were cooked beautifully, though they lacked flavor. My partner's petite filet and scallops were cooked properly; however, the scallops were far too salty — and we love salt — while the filet's seasoning was so spicy it overwhelmed the natural flavor of the premium cut. We requested all sauces on the side, as we typically do--and did not care for any of them. The Caesar salad, topped with a poached egg, was an odd choice, and the dressing leaned more creamy and sweet than tangy. We missed the traditional lemon, garlic, and anchovy notes that make a Caesar memorable. The chocolate torte, on the other hand, was exquisite — the perfect finish. We'll definitely return but will order our dishes with more specificity next time.

Wonderful birthday dinner! Service was friendly and attentive, food was all perfectly prepared - even better than expected! Will return again.

We were initially reluctant to try Post because we thought it was very expensive. It actually is no more expensive than other restaurants we frequent and we were so impressed! The ambiance is beautiful and relaxing, and our meals and salads were out of this world! Service was fantastic on all levels. Post is a definite must try!

We were there early enough to enjoy both some quiet atmosphere and the live music from the patio. Service was wonderful and a good pace. Food was delicious. Nice menu choices.

We haven't been there in a while but it was a great menu, excellent food and outstanding service. We will have to return soon.

We have been to Post a few times. This time the food was still great, but the ambiance was not pleasurable at all. They had extremely loud music on and at the same time there was live music outside. It was so noisy inside that our group had to talk loudly to hear each other. When we left our ears felt like we had been to a concert. The service was ok. When they brought out our deserts they did not bring each one of us a plate. We really were not checked on often enough to see if we we were ok and needed anything. The waitress was nice, but I feel she was overwhelmed that particular night. The food was delicious as always. No complaints there.

We thoroughly enjoyed brunch - it's nice to have the option to order off the brunch or the regular menu. Drinks and service were superb. Would definitely go back!

Why wasn't it crowded on a Friday night? This place is really really good. Reminds me of Baker & Wife but with a better cocktail list, Italian dishes, seafood and 130 whisky's!

We dined here with our family on 8/8/25 and our bill was over $800. My sea bass was very fishy and clearly not fresh. The server brought me a box because it was obvious my meal was not eaten. Finally she came by and I mentioned that it wasn’t good and she could take the meal and the box away. When we got the bill I noticed my meal($50) was still being charged to us. When I asked for it to be removed the manager came to speak to me and told me the server told her the Sea Bass had been eaten and she brought me a box for the leftover. I had to explain to her that the meal was not eaten and the box was not used because the meal was not edible. She finally agreed to remove the $50 meal but not before questioning me as if I was being dishonest. Let me remind you our bill was over $800! 😳 Avoid this place, don’t waste your money there are too many other great restaurants in Sarasota! Zero stars!

We really wanted this to be great. It was just average. Food was not terrific. The fish and chips were lackluster. Stick ribs not very warm. The server was terrific though.
