Looking for a nice restaurant to dine we found Post kitchen Bar .The atmosphere and food are fantastic. I ordered “Crispy Skin Salmon” it was delicious.

This restaurant has a great outdoor space and indoor/outdoor bar and patio. It is located in the Sarasota areas premier shopping plaza and parking can be tricky because the plaza has so many great options to eat, drink and shop. I had two items from the menu, great menu, and the flavors and plate presentation were spot on. I enjoyed the grilled oysters and Burrata. The staff was all in uniform, pleasant, friendly and working hard. I would have enjoyed a little more engagement at the bar. I will be back to enjoy a full meal and sit inside.

Service and outdoor patio were excellent. However, I ordered my steak medium rare plus and it came out well done. I received a second steak cooked as ordered but my husband had practically finished his meal before I could start mine.

The double cut pork chop was great. My only disappointment was getting an old fashion with crushed ice.
2nd trip was disappointing. Tenderloin sliders ordered medium were overcooked and dry, sea bass was as well. Risotto, deviled eggs and sticky ribs were good. Grilled oysters only ok. Specialty drinks were very good.

1st time there and ate on the outside covered patio; awesome ambiance and setting. Excellent food (don't usually even eat the bread if offered, but it was warm and smelled incredible; it was fantastic, so don't skip the bread here) and great service made for a really enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Sat on the patio with friends for lunch.. we felt like we were in a lovely garden. Food was delicious and very well presented, although it seemed others that came after us were getting their food before we were. Wait star was pleasant and efficient. So many tempting items on the menu to try... we'll be back.
