This was my first visit here since the restaurant was transferred to Wilder's from Rocco's. Even though the owner and the restaurant staff was changed the quality of the food and service has not diminished. This is one of a very few restaurants in Bradenton that sells both pizza and burgers on the menú. During this visit my dinning companions ordered Angel hair pasta with meat sauce, and a seafood entrée of shrimp Fra Diavvolo, and my order was their steak & cheese sub. (Cheesesteak) My Cheesesteak was a special order, the menú specifying onions, mushrooms and green peppers with American cheese. I requested only the steak and to use provolone cheese, which was happily accommodated. But the unexpected highpoint was the freshly in house baked roll. According to my dinner party companions their entrées were also prepared excellently. While enjoying our meals I also inquired about thier pizza varieties. Upon entering the restaurant a display case containing daily available pizza slice choices. Thier Sicilian pizza made to order but single slices and other optional sizes are not available. (Ocasionally available on Thursday by the slice). This will be the first of other returning visits to try other menu options, which seem worth trying in the future.

I will say I am impressed. This was the best pizza I have eaten in awhile. As someone from New Jersey with Italian roots is hard to find great pizza in Florida and I will say this was amazing. I order garlic knots and Stromboli with meatball added. I will say it was delicious. I brought the food to work to eat and my coworkers tried the garlic knots and fell in love. For the price, I was given a lot of garlic knots and the Stromboli was filled with meatballs. Plus, I was scared to order DoorDash cause of it being cold but the driver had to have a pizza delivery bag and the food was nice and hot. I guess the restaurant had it on a heat plate to keep it warm. This is the best. I recommended Wilders to my coworkers.

I ordered a Sicilian pizza online to pick up from the location on the island but when I arrived I seen they are not open on the island. So I called, and the young lady that I spoke with said that this was fine because she was going to call me and cancel the order anyways because they were out of Sicilian pizzas this day and they were going to cancel my order anyways. She told me to call back and speak with Ryan the next afternoon so that they can refund me, so I did. Ryan was not considerate on the phone. His energy was very much, who told you that, and “why did she tell you that when we have those pizzas”. As if I’m suppose to know. He wasn’t friendly about it I could tell he was going to just try and push me off. He did offer me the pizza again but I no longer needed it because I wasn’t with my party anymore. He said he would call me back. He never did. I paid about $33.00 and never got the pizza. Disappointed.

Service is so so . Staff is friendly . But recently I ordered and they put a 5.00 tip on my bill without my consent . I only live a block away from them and I generally give a cash tip to the driver not on my card . As of now I will not be ordering from them since now mandate a tip to their drivers . Never in my life have I ever seen such a thing .tips ate optional not mandatory.

I order a large thin crust, veggie pizza didn’t get a chance to look at it until I got home and what did I see? It was not appealing no cheese was on it. I will never go back to this pizza place again. The pizza is garbage. that’s why you do not see a whole lot of people in there. That’s why they try to hurry up and take your order. I will never recommend this place to no one. if you really want a good pizza five Star pizza is really good. I recommend you to call up those people and get you a really great pizza.

What a great little pizza place! Delicious pizza and great service. We order two pizzas and garlic knots. It came out quick and hot. Jessica was amazing! She made sure we had the best experience! Definitely recommend!

Coming from New York and now living in Florida. It was hard to find good pizza. Weren’t we surprised when we got to Wilders? Daniel made us a perfect pizza. It was delicious thin crust. Well done just like we ordered it and delicious our lovely waitress. Sylvia was very attentive and a real pleasure to talk to. Also, when we left I saw they had Zeppoli all I can say is oh my goodness they were fantastic.

We've been here a dozen or so times now and have never been disappointed. All your favorites on one menu and they do it all extremely well. From the pizza to the wings (so crispy and juicy!) to the chicken parm... even the gyros and poppers are elite. Great pizza bar ambience with friendly and prompt service.

Wilders is THE SPOT for stellar food. However, in my opinion as a customer who LITERALLY goes at least twice a week, while on shift and during off time… the server Jess is WILDERS… she makes your visit and experience fun, personable and you feel like you are the most important person in the building. The daily cooks are top notch, Daniel being my personal favorite. If you want to be part of where the (best hole in the wall) restaurants are- it’s WILDERS… it’s THE place. I’ll see you there. Tell Jess and D- OG sent you. You can thank me when you see me there eating the AMAZING Garlic Cheese Bread.
